So Villa are pretty much nailed on to sign Balde from Sevilla. He’s a rcb and their fans seem to think that this probably means Konsa won’t even make their matchday squads.  They will be looking to sell him after upgrading. 
 

If we are serious about surviving; this is exactly the type of opportunity we should be looking at. He’d improve us at cb, he’d improve us at right back and quite simply he’d probably instantly become one of our top 3 players

I think we are serious about staying up, however we do not have a serious budget

He’s played 20 premier league games and 5 in the champions league. A quality defender. Even if this was correct, there will be an entire line of suitors ahead of us who would be better suited for him. No way he drops from champions league to a relegation battle, he doesn’t need to.

New manager's not a fan. Same guy who shoved Mandanda out of Marseille - albeit Mandanda is now super old, so signing a new keeper was inevitable.

If we're not in for Gronbaek we are fools - as he's a creative mid who will do bits (in the championship no doubt - but he'd do well in the prem and give us some actual depth).

Wolves getting Manu Silva, another through the door, meanwhile we haven't even got a signing ready to play until the 26th of January. Clown car operation.

Wolves obviously have that link to Portuguese players and Silva would no doubt choose them over us, if he had a choice, because of it and I’ve said in the past couple of days how I don’t need to keep reading links but I’m surprised we haven’t had the links to Dutch and Nordic talent which is an area where Ruud’s influence might put us in pole position if it came down to a player choosing between 2 clubs.

 

There must be some nuggets in our £3-5m price bracket from the region.

Loan signing. The report says its an option not an obligation. Few implications for PSR. Why are Glover and Rudkin not all over this. Its just a do nothing approach that has never helped us.

at this stage i think we need to change the post horn gallop entrance music to the bloody magic roundabout one

 

this club is no way shape or form one i like now, actually starting to hate the club in all honesty
