Mickyblueeyes Posted 4 January Posted 4 January That defence is so worrying. All 4 need to be replaced 1

Weller Wing Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Had a feeling we could get something today but not very confident now 3 1
Number 6 Posted 4 January Posted 4 January He's just followed the Liverpool template hasn't he? Tough away game set up. Buonoanotte will hopefully be brought on later if we've managed to stay in the game, Thomas change enforced. 1

I think defensively he does okay when playing as an all out FB, but when asked to.support the winger he's not great. I think he's better than some on here give him credit. In our relegation season he had no support from Barnes, Ndidi and tielemens couldnt be arsed and as a result we were often targeted. Tend to agree. VK often gets flack on here, but his passing can be superlative. We will miss his influence on our game. 1
Kitchandro Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Sorry but if we lose this he’s earned the sack. Bringing Ayew back in for Buonanotte after the difference in the last performance is stupidity and we deserve everything we get. 2
rugbyblue Posted 4 January Posted 4 January The cnut loves ayew. Fck off. In what world does he start ahead of buanotte. 3

I wouldn't mind if this was because Fatawu or a competent right winger was keeping him out but I presume it's the defensive issue which Ayew is equally as poor at helping out as he can't run. Basically because Bounanotte doesn't really help the fullback, away at Villa I can understand why you would want someone who can help out more. Not convince Ayew is much better in that regard but can sort understand the logic. Be more disappointed if we were at home. Edited 4 January by coolhandfox 3
kingpower Posted 4 January Posted 4 January (edited) Shall we all take a guess at what minute Luke Thomas gets out-muscled by a Villa player and it leads to a goal? Edited 4 January by kingpower 1
Popular Post Pliskin Posted 4 January Popular Post Posted 4 January Stolorczyk Hamza Okilo Yannick Faes Justin Winks Soumare Buonanote Vardy Bilal…. Should be the team in my opinion. 5
FoxesFourLife Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Even if we get quality in in the transfer market is Rudd going to play them he keeps making the same mistakes Ayew again seriously.
adam Posted 4 January Posted 4 January The centre half situation is starting to annoy me also. Why not try Okoli. The 2 he selects every week have been part of a defence that can't stop shipping goals. 2
Legend_in_blue Posted 4 January Posted 4 January As was said at the start of this thread, the fact that this team is weaker than it was throughout last season is unacceptable. At this rate, we will finish where we are and Ipswich above us. Embarrassing and it's all on the board. Jokers. 2
StanSP Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Villa 3 or 4 up at half time. We'll draw the 2nd half and there'll be 'positives to take from the game' 2

Dahnsouff Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Facundo was not great in the games before Man City, he did well against Man City though, but will just be content if he will have a game off and either come on late and be a difference maker, or come back next game and tear it up.

OntarioFox Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Thomas being in three relegated squads in two and a half seasons of Premier League football is quite some accomplishment when you think about it.

jv1 Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Surely hamza, faes or okoli or even skipp are better at full back than bloody Luke Thomas - that’s seriously up there with the Danny ward pick by ruud - he sat in stands at Brentford and watched that and still puts Thomas in - wowsers don’t even get me started on the ayew for facundo decision- that is absolutely pathetic - facundo must be absolutely fuming school boy stuff from ruud with wolves selection and now this after last week giving a slight chink of light and hope he puts that team out Im really starting to think he has no idea what he is doing 1
