FrankieADZ Posted 15 January 2025 Posted 15 January 2025 Just now, Spudulike said: ACL? a quad injury, he could be back late march/april at a push but all depends how he gets on in his recovery 1

But is back at the training ground for his recovery. Think the initial diagnosis was c. 4 months from early Nov, so hopefully back March time could allow him to be available for Oxfords last 10 games or so of the season. 2

Not been recalled, just doing his rehab at Seagrave. Still time before the window closes though depending on both clubs' plans for him.
JimJams Posted 15 January 2025 Posted 15 January 2025 I thought Oxford tweeted that they were sending him back due to the injury? 1

JimJams Posted 15 January 2025 Posted 15 January 2025 Yeah, he's still listed on the team. https://www.oufc.co.uk/squad/62

It's a try before you inevitably don't buy job. Tell these clubs to DO one! Sick of Italian penny pinchers. 5

Ric Flair Posted 16 January 2025 Posted 16 January 2025 We seem infatuated with signing players from Italy which we often overpay and yet we only ever manage to get outgoings to the same league with whiffy loan with options to buy. 2
Lambert09 Posted 16 January 2025 Posted 16 January 2025 Ah yes the classic Italian way, get an option inserted just in case their value increases whilst they are with you. if not, you know the bar for what the club would accept, after the loan haggling it down further or just walk away. he’s staying forever
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 16 January 2025 Posted 16 January 2025 No one is paying money for this clown. So he's either here until 2027 or it's some kind of termination of contract. 1
LCFCCKEANO Posted 16 January 2025 Posted 16 January 2025 Serie A clubs outside the big boys are jsut money pinchers, guarantee they would come back in the summer with an offer that’s half of the option 1
Mickyblueeyes Posted 16 January 2025 Posted 16 January 2025 Every time an Italian club comes in for one of our players, it always reminds me of Roma and Mahrez. Leicester City are looking for £60-70m for Mahrez Roma - we will give you £15m final offer

MPH Posted 5 February 2025 Posted 5 February 2025 Yeah nice one, Rudkin… wait until we are unable to get a replacement and THEN accept an offer for him..
