One worldie doesn’t make up for 3yrs of poor defending. Why wait until the summer, if he wants out then get the cash in now. One of many that I wouldn’t be disappointed if they didn’t pull on the shirt again!

He's prone to errors and dives in too much. He's also our best CB on the ball and probably out fastest ( although that's more of an indication of how slow the others are ) 

 

I would sell him, but also don't have the hate that everyone seems to have for him.

I think the club would for a decent price. But clubs will wait for the summer in the knowledge that we'll need the money after going down and he won't want to hang around. Clubs will smell a bargain. If there is a buyer now, then sure cash in for the right price. 

 

I just don't see a buyer in this window.

Bearing in mind his previous regular lapses in concentration after 60 minutes, his general aire of 'I'm better than all this', can we really afford to let him play again in a 'backs to the wall' relegation battle when there needs to be a strong sense of togetherness in the team? Won't he just be poncing about thinking of his next job?

Said it before, there'll be clubs that'll think if they can iron out his lapses in concentration and cashless that they'd have a top class centre half and he'll have clubs in Europe that would want him. We need to be sensible on price and recouping our money isn't the most unreasonable demands I've read from us over the years. I also don't think he's on stupid wages either.

So strange. Doesn't he know he's already struggling at the level he's at? He's not going to find a better club. If anything it should be us nudging him out of the door for a steady centre back that can concentrate for 90 mins.

Nice to see we have reasonable fans still, but I do understand the dislike. He came in, immediately weakened the side, got us relegated, wanted out, Maresca swayed him back and now he publicly wants out again. It's quite unprofessional but also just a bit embarrassing given he's nowhere near the level he thinks he is.

its the reason he didnt celebrate on Sunday against QPR. he knows he has been wank since he arrived and part kf a defence that has made enough mistakes to get us relegated twice.

Would love us to get rid this month, it would be a good show of authority from Ruud. Faes adds nothing for me, I’d rather Okoli as backup if we are going with Coady and Vesty. JJ or Ndidi to slot back if we are in dire need, but hopefully we get someone in at CB.

Along with some of his early season performances it probably explains why he has been out of team, we don't need someone who wants out, and is actively looking for an out when we are going to be fighting for survival. As others have said haven't we been here before?....

 

He has qualities that could make him a very good CB in teams that have a lot of the ball, but the mental side of his game will always let him down massively. Far too many errors, a lot of finger pointing and from the outside at it looks very likely that he thinks he's well above the club and some of his teammates. 

 

If we can get him gone this month I think it would be a good bit of business.
