Kanya Fujimoto, suggested him before but appears as if he's out of contract this summer, so unless he's agreed to a new deal or agreed to go elsewhere, we should be all over this

There are 12 pages on here now?  How many of them will we get?  I presume they all come from good knowledge & investigation.

For the beginning of this season, did we have Edouard (who?), Skipp, BDCR, Andre Ayew etc. on the list??????????????????

Squad built around Alves, Fatawu and Nelson. Add to that players who have the hunger and desire to play for this club. If that comes over ability, so be it, but I'm sick of seeing players go through the motions and checking out.

Poku could be an option on a free - someone who wants to improve their game and move onto the next level. Right age to develop and sell on for a bigger fee. Could be a ready made replacement for Fatawu once he establishes his fitness.

Love that shout, same agent as Okoli.

Charlie Savage is an interesting one. Good engine, aggressive off the ball and has 15 goal contributions in all competitions.

Jake Tabor highest non league scorer they are calling him the next Vardy.  We should take a punt on him I believe he's already scored over 50 goals this season, if he gets 15 in championship next season that be impressive.

I'd take him. Cheap as well given Reading might not even exist next season.

If we could get rid of 10-12 of the deadwood over the summer, sign no one and play the emerging academy players in combination with our better players I’d consider that a pretty good summer window. You can’t really trust the current recruitment team to spend money wisely

From the current squad, I would like to see:

GONE:

1: Ward

2: Faes

3: Ndidi

4: Winks

5: Vardy

6: Reid

7: Daka

8: Vestergaard

9: Soumare

10: Hermansen

11: Iversen

12: McAteer

First Team choices:

1: Okoli

2: Fatawu

3: Mavididi

4: BEK

5: Souttar

6: Coulibaly

7: Thomas

8: Golding

9: Stolarczyk

Backup:

10: Justin

11: Coady

12: Kristiansen

13: Ayew

14: Ricardo

15: Skipp

16: Braybrooke

Promoted from youth

1: Evans

2: Monga

3: Nelson

4: Alves

That gives us 20 first team players, one of whom is a literal child, so would require us to sign at least five players. The good news is that Hermansen's fee and the huge amount of wages saved would give a bit of elasticity, but would depend on the new manager having a bit of savvy. Crucial we get this appointment right.

10: Hermansen

11: Iversen

12: McAteer

Jesus Christ, finally Iversen and Ward out of contract, so that's two of your list gone at least. Vards will also be out of contract and I think he goes, it'll be really sad to see his last game be in such miserable context but still.

Hermansen I assume you've included because we'll need the money, my concern is that his post-injury season has possibly reduced his value and whilst we need sellable assets, I'm a bit concerned it's going to be a really bad time to cash in. Otherwise he's a great player, he'll do a good job next year and frankly I'd happily keep Winks as well. He was lightyears ahead of the Championship last season and I don't hold petty grudges like a lot on here, don't give a shit how crap he's been this year, I don't think it's entirely his fault.

The rest, eh. The majority will want out, I think, Faes and Ndidi have had their agents feeding rumours already, Daka and Soumare didn't want to play in the Championship last time and Vestergaard has just had a horrible career here. However, none are out of contract and most still have a book value and bloated wages to overcome. Even Soumare and Daka, with only a year left, probably have book values of about 5-6m each and I honestly don't think a lot of clubs will want to pay significantly in excess of that for their services given they'll almost definitely be wanted abroad more than at home.

I can see Soumare completing the full Praet cycle and doing a year on loan again before his contract expires. I think Daka will be in the squad, personally, whether he likes it or not. With so fewer strikers on the books I don't think a new manager will have the freedom that Enzo did to exclude him and frankly I do think he'll work hard and put the effort in if he's forced to stay regardless.

McAteer is just the new Hamza, we fluffed our lines, should have sold him when someone offered silly money for him, the moment has passed and now he's just going to linger. He'll maybe be a useful squad option but he isn't going anywhere.

Reid we have for two more years, ffs, he's going to be on wages nobody is topping. That's a senior squad space and wage bill problem we're going to have for another two years. Nobody's even going to want to loan him because he's not good enough for any level he'd be willing to leave us for. Just an awful signing, probably even worse than Ayew to be honest.

All in all, of your list of 12, I reckon  maybe half are gone by September at most? Faes and Wilf the most likely to go for nominal fees.

Golding? Lol don't be daft, he's just Leon Crnic mk 2, he'll never play for us.

I think BEK's agent will be ringing around Europa League qualifying clubs already, frankly, he's far too good for us. With Hermansen's value dipping a bit, I think we'll end up having to try and sell him for as much of a profit as we can manage to bring in some cash. Keep in mind he did a Fofana to join us and I wouldn't expect considerable loyalty from him if decent clubs come sniffing.

Okoli wants out and has for a while, he's got the same wage and book value probably as some of the others but he has aspirations to get back in the Italian side. I reckon he gets loaned back to Italy, I'll be amazed if he's in the squad.

Thomas isn't good enough but we probably can't get rid and Souttar will depend heavily on the style of play a new manager wants to implement. We probably won't have a high enough budget to NOT use him, mind.

Brakbrooke failed to make an impact at a crap SPL club and that's his one bit of pro football since an ACL, I don't think he's ready to be in the first team here tbh. We need to find a decent League One or Two loan for him to get some proper minutes under his belt in this country.

Skipp probably starts, I reckon he'd be alright in the Championship to be honest and quite frankly we need so much in the squad we probably can't afford to not play him. He isn't going to have a long line of Prem teams after him. I reckon Coady will go. Wages are a problem but we almost managed to swap him out in January, he's barely kicked a ball here and I think he pretty obviously wants out.

I don't think Kristiansen will want to be in the squad either, I can see another loan. Worked well for him last time.

As for youth, Alves and Nelson will be in the squad I think but Monga will probably have gone.

Probably leaves the following senior players that will need to be registered:

Winks, Reid, Daka, McAteer, Vestergaard(?), Fatawu, Mavididi, Souttar, Woyo, Thomas, Stolarczyk, JJ, Ayew, Skipp, Ricky(?) - 15 senior pros, several of which aren't good enough and a few who actively don't want to be here. Jesus ****ign christ that's rough.

I can't even bring myself to do a depth chart.

For next year I reckon...

Stolarcyck stays and becomes # whilst Hermansen, Iversen and Ward all go. Mads being our biggest sellable asset and the other 2 are out of contract.

Not much will change at RB. I can see all of Woyo, Ricardo and JJ staying.

VK I see going, probably on loan. Not sure we will be able to shift Thomas but I would given half the chance and I'd have JJ as backup LB.

I can see Nelson and Okoli being starting CB maybe souttar. I can't see Coady going but Faes and Vesty will.

No chance Skipp goes. Ndidi and soumare will. Hopefully Hamza too. Not sure about Winks.

Not sure anything will happen with wingers and #10. If we can keep Bilal and Fatawu, they will start alongside Mav. Since I can't see us getting rid of BDCR or Ayew, they will be backup alongside Monga and Alves. Maybe Mcateer goes.

Vardy leaves and I reckon Daka too so we need to start over at striker.

So that means, outgoing are....

Hermansen

Iversen

Ward

VK

Thomas(?)

Vesty

Faes

Soumare

Ndidi

Hamza(?)

Winks(?)

Mcateer(?)

Vardy

Data

That means,we will need...

Gk.

LB.

CB.

2/3 CM.

2 ST.

Unfortunately, with not much in the way of big money sellable assets, we won't be bringing much revenue in. Probably no more than £40m or so without selling Bilal and Fatawu. That means, not a lot to spend on incoming. The annoying thing is, if we were a well run club (we are not) we could prob fill those slots with free transfers and loans.

Golding is nowhere near, nowhere near ready. He’s barelt looked ready at the level he’s playing at. He won’t ever play first team football for us, I don’t think he’s good enough personally.

if we sell everyone on that list we would get more than that. 30m just for Mads, 10m for Ndidi. Probs another 20m for all the others.

invested wisely and it will be the overhaul we need

Again, that's IF we had competent people running the club.

As it stands, I think they will sell Mads for less than he's worth and more than a few on that list will be loans. Probably including VK and Soumare.

There's lots of speculation among posters about who we should keep and who should go. At present the only names we can clear from our overpaid squad are Ward, Iversen and sadly Vardy.

The fans have not witnessed such an unfocused squad for many many years and enthusiasm among some to follow the Foxes has reached an all time low.

Usually at the end of each season nothing happens for a while as the players go on holiday etc etc. The supporters frustration goes on.

For once, it would be a positive move to get the fans onside if we are able to announce a couple of sales early on preferably involving players the supporters have had enough of.

There is a lot to do this summer if we are to start the 25-26 Championship season feeling anything like good about our club. I sincerely hope the owners and board realise the changes need to start now and the fans need optimism that they are not going to be watching the same faces. This means NOW and not the middle of July to start the clear out.

(I've not named any names as we all know who many of the first choices out the door would be). By the time the transfer window opens in June wouldn't it just be nice to know that we can start recruiting as a result of a few sales. In some cases just a fee, any fee to clear the decks!!!

Exactly. There will be a number of players we could go for on free transfers but in many cases, we are likely to miss out as we will need to shift some out first.

An example is Harry Darling who is highly rated at CB for Swansea and out of contract. He’d be a good pick up but we are stacked at CB with:

Nelson

Souttar

Okoli

Coady

Vestergaard

Faes

We will need to shit 2/3 of those, ideally all of, or minimum 2 of the bottom 3 in that list.

That will likely take time and even if we do it, we will have missed out on targets and likely waste more money and wages on a substandard addition to the squad.

Wide positions as well. We are well stocked with a better selection there but a player like Poku at Peterborough is available. We have:

Fatawu

Mavididi

Alves

Monga

Evans

Reid

Ayew

As with the above, we ideally want to shift both or at least one of the bottom 2. There is already a risk they are still around the squad and block the progress of the likes of Alves, Monga (if still here) and Evans. Fatawu and Mavididi should be first choice of course.

So again, whilst we are faffing around trying to shift them two, we will miss out on someone like Poku as the position is one that we are ok in and we will have other priorities such as left back, central midfield and striker(s).

So frustrating….
