What’s the point in Vestergaard, Ayew, Skipp etc. When Pearson brought experience, it was the likes of Phillips and Cambiasso. Completely broken culture. 4
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 9 March 2025 Posted 9 March 2025 When we go down, we need to focus on losing as many high earners as possible before using the loan system to replace them. Regardless of who we lose/sign this summer, if we come back up there would need to be a complete rebuild again. Filling the gaps with loans makes the most logical sense. You would like to think with our contacts at Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea we could borrow some highly rated youngsters for a season. 1
JimJams Posted 9 March 2025 Posted 9 March 2025 I'd rather look abroad for ones we can more likely make permanent if we go up. Prem clubs either take them back and so you're having to replace them to get back to square one or they're charging you a ridiculous premium.

Foxin_Mad Posted 9 March 2025 Posted 9 March 2025 (edited) I’d rather look for young gems we can sign and use the academy. I don’t want to develop players for the cartel, and I don’t want players player for my club who know full well they are ****ing off regardless at the end of the season. It’s no wonder it’s difficult to build a culture. Edited 9 March 2025 by Foxin_Mad 2
Ric Flair Posted 11 March 2025 Posted 11 March 2025 Louis Munteanu Such an intelligent player. Good first touch, comfortable holding up and linking play, as well as running with the ball and taking players on. Excellent finisher of all types of goals in and outside the box. Very impressive. 2

Decent shout Ric. Have been keeping tabs on him recently as FTalentScout has posted about him a few times. 2

Out Foxed Posted 12 March 2025 Posted 12 March 2025 might have already been mentioned but A. Miracle French Player 1
MPH Posted 12 March 2025 Posted 12 March 2025 (edited) Said his name before, but Patrick Ageymang, the Charlotte FC forward. Young, fast, strong and tall. 6ft 4. Can score with his head or feet. Just broken into the USA team so permit shouldn’t be a problem. If we go down, the Champ would be ideal for him to get used to English football. if handled properly, could be a fantastic player one day.. Edited 12 March 2025 by MPH 1
MPH Posted 12 March 2025 Posted 12 March 2025 His goals from last year.. can hold the ball up well which isn’t shown in here… 1
jayfox26 Posted 14 March 2025 Posted 14 March 2025 If we sell Mads, I'd be happy with our former keeper Viktor Johansson. Not sure if Stoke would be willing to sell him unless they got relegated but he's always seemed a really good keeper at championship level and i can't imagine he'd be on big wages. 1
kingfox Posted 14 March 2025 Posted 14 March 2025 Few names I wouldn’t mind seeing replace Hermansen, but Marvin Keller(Young Boys) intrigues me the most atm. Leads the Swiss League for prevented goals and save percentage with a very impressive 84%. 2
Ric Flair Posted 14 March 2025 Posted 14 March 2025 Stolarczyk genuinely deserves to be Hermansen's replacement in the Championship. But recruiting a solid number 2 is a bit of a puzzle. Do you go for experience or go for someone very young who would be happy to be understudy for a while. It's a tricky one. 3

Swiss international capped Yvon Mvogo is a free agent in the Summer. Perfect no 2 keeper. Sell Hermansen to Chelsea for £30m. Goal keepers done. 1
The Guvnor Posted 15 March 2025 Posted 15 March 2025 Look at the best players in the championship and get some bangers to replace the dross we currently have.

Hoping we get a bidding war going for Hermanson between Chelsea & Man U we know Enzo loves him but there’s no way Man U keeping Onana as their #1 there will be a big overhaul in Manchester this summer & keeper will be top of the list.

Very young and keep the wage bill down 1

What’s the point? Even if he’s sold for 50 million, Top and Rudkin will waste it.

It does make you wonder what our so called professional full time scouts focus on. to spend 75 million on Skipp, Ayew, Reid, Okoli and Bilal. when people on here who have variety of full time jobs can still recommend players who would provide a long term vision to the club. 2
Lambert09 Posted 16 March 2025 Posted 16 March 2025 Would banzuzi be realistic in the championship? I feel like it would be 1
