FoxinNotts Posted 29 March 2025 Posted 29 March 2025 As others have said, give Nelson, Alves, Monga and Josh King a go in the Championship. All getting a good deal of game time, would go a long way to the right formula to bounce straight back
Noahfence Posted 29 March 2025 Posted 29 March 2025 Poku at Peterborough is someone I’ve always been intrigued by. 23 year old winger scored 10 last season on 12 this season. 3

He's very much ready to play for a top championship side, I just wonder where he'd fit in if we had Fatawu, Mavididi, Alves and Monga next year. Available on a free in the summer though. If we lose Monga, we should be all over it 3

Lambert09 Posted 29 March 2025 Posted 29 March 2025 Charlie savage could be interesting with his dad’s connection to us. I know many don’t like savage but his son seems to pick up decent numbers for a defensive midfielder. That indicates that he can play as well as tidying bits up. At 21 I’d at least be keeping an eye on his development

Time will tell which one will go further. I just think that Josh King lad looks the real deal

FrankieADZ Posted 29 March 2025 Posted 29 March 2025 Poku would be a decent addition to the squad imo but sadly i doubt the club will go back to that sort of model of looking for rough gems

If we are to keep Monga then he needs to see where he lies in the pecking order favourably 1
BKLFox Posted 30 March 2025 Posted 30 March 2025 Blackwell has thrown a few names in his column in the merc recently and all deserve a good look especially thou’s on a free; Poku, Darling, Dolan, Osho & Nmecha then for a fee Hackney, Wright & Fellows. All are up in the top 1% stats wise for their position and most are 25yrs or below. I’d imagine the 3 promoted sides will have their pick 1st & be a potential better draw for the players but we certainly should be in the conversation.
Muzzy_no7 Posted 31 March 2025 Posted 31 March 2025 A new board. New DOF. A technical director. Rohl and his staff OR Dyche and his merry men.
LeePhilpottsBaldSpot Posted 31 March 2025 Posted 31 March 2025 (edited) Bad eggs shipped out and replaced with players on an upward trajectory. Keep Pereira and Vardy for experience - everyone else 27+ can leave for whatever we can get for them. GK: Jakub / New RB: Ricardo / New LB: Woyo / Thomas CB: Souttar / Nelson CB: Okoli / New MC: Skipp / Golding MC: New / Braybrooke RW: Fatawu / McAteer LW: Mavididi / Munga / Briggs AM: El Khannouss / Alves CF: New / Evans / Vardy El Khannouss will probably want to leave but I'd love to see him in the Championship. Could be tricky with wages, but I really hope Faes, Soumare, Coady and Reid leave the club. At least we can be confident Ward and Edouard won't be stinking the place up after May... surely??
