Realistically, is he going to come back and be fit enough to make an instant impact this year? Been out for ages. If they offer 15 mill I would take it. They won’t though so nothing will happen

If we accepted this and opted not to go for Banzuzi for £10m then we need a cease and desist as a professional football club.

Adding that we own Banzuzi, so surely there’s a PSR fiddle opportunity there……..

Won’t happen - we won’t loan him - makes no sense to us - we would sell him but they won’t pay the 15m release clause

Maybe we will if it’s a loan with an obligation, a guaranteed £15m this summer that we can waste on more deadwood rubbish

We may have lost every game without him, but i would argue that's just a coincidence rather than the reason. Ideally we need better than him, but we already need enough first team players without having to replace him too. No point in a loan out either.

If we loan him out this window I'd unironically believe that they were setting fire to things on their way out. Even they aren't this stupid, surely?

Is he even injured?

I think we're assuming he is otherwise why would a key 1st team player be out for so long and not even on the bench?

Still, who knows what the F goes on in this club.

A loan out is fine if it pays the way for a loan in.

But we only seem to loan out to fxxking paupers so that's probably not happening.

What a shambles. What a player he’s been for us but you can't blame him, he gave us another chance when everyone left.

Tbf if we get any actual money for someone who was free to walk out the door 6 months ago that’s good business.

we all accepted he had left so even 5m is a bonus.

Surprised by some of the reactions to this on here.

he’s always injured. If we could get a decent fee for him I would look to sell. Reinvest the money in a replacement and I think it’s a good deal.

we all know it will be spent on Josh brownhill though.

That's why I'm against. I'm very much in favour of selling players as a general rule, but it relies on a reliable recruitment set up to make it worth it. It's why the Cannon situation, while I don't mind the sale, we will likely rue it because of a failure to use the money properly.

Ndidi is our best midfielder by a mile. The results prove it. But his injury record is a problem. We cannot keep accounting for him and Ricardo spending half a season out every year.

A loan with option is a dead deal. Theres no benefit to us in a loan. We lack bite in midfield as it is without losing the best tackler in the club.

Are Monaco as poorly run as us?

It seems like they always have an interest in our shite players.

More likely Rudkin once went on holiday there… “Leak a rumour to the press that some foreign club wants to buy one of our players… Which club?! I don’t f-fin know… 🤔… Monaco”

Report last week stated Monaco were 1 of only a few clubs who could afford Rashford’s wages when they were linked, so I don’t want any of this option to buy cr4p front up or push off.
