The half witted regurgitation from the bedsit dwelling,  unemployed, communist, foreign policy experts in the dark depths of a chat forum for a regional sports club does wonders for comedic passing of the time whilst I lay a cable in the morning, so thanks.

That's going a bit too far IMO.

LCFC are well known outside the region too.

Gary Linker, a football pundit mistakingly reposting a video containing a small pic of a rat is hatemongering but Israeli officials calling Palastinians animals and linking them to Amalek is swept under the rug? Only one of them hold military capabilities.

The crucial difference between Israel and Gaza is that while they both want to destroy each other, only one has the capability to do it.

Not to open a can of worms and all, but I am not entirely sure that is true, I think the people of Gaza just want their land and to live in it in peace. Where as Israel want all the land and take what belongs to the people of Gaza.

Gary made a very bad mistake and paid a price. I think that's all that needs to be said

I think when a citizen of a sovereign nation easily loses his livelihood for criticising a foreign government, it kinda begs the question, don't you think?

He didn't though, he resigned because of posting an exceptionally crude anti-Semitic image. Gary would have continued to stand behind the criticism of Netanyahu's government, but carelessly posting that image was indefensible

Labour should just rejoin the EU again and stop all this arsing about.

Obviously not everyone, on either side, but enough to make a mess and also in positions of power.

Would they actually  have us back?

Europeans still surprisingly have quite a high opinion of the UK especially with what's happening in America and Russia. And it would look good for them if we came crawling back. The EU probably wouldn't risk it though with europhobes still doing well in the polls here and other states waiting a while for their accession.

It was a pic of a rat on the top left of a less than 2 minutes video discussing the ideology of the zionist movement. He wasn't calling the Jewish people rats nor was the lady insinuating that they are. It was an honest mistake by him (which he immediately apologised for btw). A lot of people didn't even know that the term "Rat" was antisemitic until this incident. Just a few days ago Pep was called a "bald rat", does that mean the fan on the video is anti-Semitic?

"exceptionally crude antisemitic image" is overblown when you look at the character of a man like Gary. He doesn't strike me as that kind of person at all. He was made an example just like the Arsenal kitman recently.

The politicians can't speak or they lose their job. Media personalities can't speak or they lose their jobs and soon enough, regular civilians will face the same outcome if they speak against ghouls like bibi.

Last I checked the terms "well poiseners" and "baby killers" are an anti-Semitic trope yet the IDF is documented doing those things, so should we shy away from pointing those facts because the terms were used 100's of years ago to discriminate against the jews? The zionist Media can't keep hiding behind "antisemitism" when valid arguments are made against israel.

It was a move to discredit the message. I might have a soft spot for a club legend but i just can't see how a person like him fits the caricature that the media wants to paint of Lineker.

Whoever made the video chose to overlay a black rat image towards the top of the screen next to the text accompaniment.
they 100% knew the significance of the rat imagery.  Gary made a massive error in not spotting it.  It was clearly not related to anything in the video so you’d have thought lineker (who is experienced in tv and film production ) would have noticed it and done some digging.

The verbal term ‘rat’ has no specific anti semitic significance imo. Anyone taking offence would be deliberately choosing to do so. The AS angle is purely the imagery of the rat as used by the nazis in their dehumanising posters etc.

Sick to the back teeth of Israel now. To say that UK, Canada and France have 'lost their moral compass' is nothing but a sick joke.

Raw burger exports?  I know it extends the current position, which is probably ok, but I can't help feeling given how much this means for the French in particular, we should have got access to the EU defence fund for it.

Apologies for my ignorance, but I see no tangible of Starmers deal with EU.  So analyst have so diverse opinions.

Me, personally see it a betrayal of brexit, and I was anti brexit, but the deal is without the true benefits of brexit.  Thoughts?1

Are there any true benefits of Brexit? Genuine question.

Monumental change in Australian politics. The Liberal/Nationals coalition has split. They have held power for long periods in Australia but were reduced to a rump in the recent Labor landslide.

Shorn of the boat-anchor of the Nationals, the Liberals may actually be able to finally shake off their pathological hatred of renewables and other progressive policies and perhaps start to reclaim some of their metropolitan support, though it’s difficult to see how they could form government apart. It will be interesting to see what direction they take on their own.

I think this would be helpful for democracy as a sitting government do need to be kept honest.

That is not the question, just like we are saying is we voted Labour the party to give us any benefits, we voted and that should stand.
