This is why I think we need to go for someone really young and raw. Especially now when we are looking at championship football next season. Surely there a 16-21 year old playing in an obscure league on the continent banging goals in for fun that can be had for peanuts.

Presently at a hockey game, and a bunch of local team mascots are here. The NY Red Bulls mascot sat down next to me, and as I asked who they’re signing on loan from the EPL, he formed “TW” with his hands. I asked him about Daka, and he scratched his head.

Somebody like that young lad that Sheffield just signed, he played for stoke first half of the season and had a good goal average...plenty of life left in the engine, and plenty of time to mold him.

I hear you but given how things are now and have been for the last few years, any chance we get to ship out the gash we should embrace like a long lost twin.

Marcus Rashford / Evan Ferguson on loan it's unlikely we will bring in a permanent striker in the January transfer window.

It's not that insurmountable  especially with RVN in charge, and the fact that Rashford is being frozen out at Manchester United? on a loan deal with MUFC paying the majority of wages, I could see him ending up here albeit it unlikely, if Manchester United decide to loan him out they wouldn't do it to a competitor such as West Ham et al, but for us, I think they could.

from what I understand, the main reason man United want rid is that he doesn’t train properly and puts in the minimal of effort when he does.  I’m not sure there is any wage we would pay that would make That acceptable in the relegation battle we are in..
