We desperately needed new signings in attack for the Palace game.

4 matches later and we've still done nowt.

Let's be honest ... looking from the outside we are a shambles... a manager trying to find his feet, a squad who don't look to interested, a good bet for relegation, no real quality in the team .... fans who thankfully seeming to wake up to our predicament... its now a damage limitation season

Ok, now tell me the bad news

Make of that what you will...

that sounds like nothing is confirmed and we arent even close to getting anybody.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and reckon they at least have some utter dog shit last resort options lined up.

I didn’t think anything could irritate me more than our lack of activity in this window.

But…

”ain’t”

Is giving it a good battle!

I agree. It should of course be "Why Aren't we signing no players innit?

Yeah, probably lining up another Ryan Bennett type signing to stink up the place.

I suspect there are few possibles who are considering several options. If LCFC are going down, then no thanks. I think the Everton game is massive, if we win, then we will be successful in getting good quality players, if we lose, then we are doomed

Didn't know until this morning that the transfer deadline was Monday, thought it was today.

3 more days of this shit, great.

You can identify, study and want a number of players BUT you can't buy a player a club won't sell or a player who simply doesn't want to come. I would think the latter is particularly pertinent in our situation. Also bearing in mind you haven't got the earth to spend on buying, or the ability to pay outrageous wages anymore, plus all the ffp type issues. Everyone and his dog knows that most clubs, agents and players wait until the last minute to see what the best offers are which is understandable.

So bearing that in mind, you're now in charge, how are YOU going to solve it?

Hi John how are you? Looking forward to Cheltenham?

I’m a bit concerned at the lack of urgency because if we go down no amount of legal loopholes will save us this time.

Its as i’ve feared, no lessons learned and untouchable people who live without consequence have moved even further from reality.

Another relegation would be a complete disaster.

True but surely the club anticipated this and somehow our final game of the month is tomorrow and we have pissed it all away:plancque:

Of course they would but it's one thing anticipating it, quite another being able to do anything about it. We're not a very attractive club, in a poor bargaining position, in the arse end of the market, wanting the same sort of players a load of others want.

Moyes has just admitted in his press conference that Everton are really struggling to sign anybody decent because they're still hamstrung by PSR despite not being charged this season. If we beat them tomorrow they'll be right back in the relegation mix given their injury issues...

Probably one of the most important transfer windows ever in terms of what we desperately lacked and needed for our chance to survive in the top flight....and we monumentally ****ed it. If it wasn't so laughable, we'd by crying.
