They look easy to wind up. Pity Vardy's left

Maybe our players could score and sit on the advertising hoardings?   ;)

Yeo - they’ll be a different proposition with those guys

do think that they need a better defensive midfielder to make them tick a bit better.

They miss Morsy, I’d expect us to take 4 points off them this season

If we manage to keep the likes of BEK, then we probably deserve the points deduction just to keep the league competitive.

That was 100 minutes of calamity.

What a clown. Watched his team win the league, all that summer excitement and bang he's now gonna get a stadium ban. Idiot.

Never get how people can go that far, its a football match. Not worth a ban or criminal record.

He looks a miss for now

presumably the coach has plans for the role other than what we saw this evening. They weren’t able to keep the ball away from Birmingham and quieten the crowd.

Opening day's always been one to throw up weird results before teams get into a rhythm, but wow, that was an absolutely honking advert for the league.

Feeling a lot better about our own prospects after that - two teams hyped up as promotion favourites and they were absolute doggo. Saw more boxing than I did football.

Penalty should have been retaken as well by the looks of it..Ashley Young was in the box

Encroachment only relevant if Young had an impact on the penalty scored (scored or involved in a rebound goal or impacted a defender potentially reaching a rebound.)

Birmingham will be a threat though when the reincarnation of Pele (Kyogo according to the commentators ) can last 90 mins. Plus if they give demari gray his debut next game he's great 'on his day'

Abdul is gonna cause carnage in this league, just think bad to what he did against Southampton last season 💀

Until Rudkin panics and sells him to a PL team for something ridiculous like 10m

Leicester will dominate games in midfield and in wide areas, if he can hang on to BEK and only lose Mads, we have comfortably the best squad in this league, how badly we are being written off it really amusing! If with -9 we should be pushing for automatics, the quality this season isn’t a patch on 23/24

Tbf we shithoused them into oblivion even without him last time in the Championship. Mavididi had them on strings.

But when footballers do it and only get a few games ban…?

Not sure that's correct 🤔

It is. Unless they "clearly impact the goalkeeper" or end up playing/challenging for the ball then it's no problem and I think you'd have a very hard job arguing that Young clearly impacted the goalkeeper

Ball to hand ️  never a pen

Never would be given with var

With his arm up there and the ref having given it, VAR would not have overturned it. It would’ve still been a pen.
