Cov won’t carry on winning all season just can’t see it. If we win today still only 3 points behind the best team they have had in 10 years against one of our worst. Few injuries or lose a few when jan comes in will change quickly

Lampard as a shout for Forest???

would would be quite funny for him to jump ship at the first chance he gets of prem football again but I don’t think he would take it

Shows just how poor we, Ipswich and Southampton were last season. We have all disappeared in the norm of this league pretty well. None of us standing out.

Years of Poor recruitment, club management is showing from us and Saints. I was expecting Ipswich to run away with this league, but their confidence and swagger has ran dry.

I've been impressed by Middlesbrough and Cov so far and fair play to them.

Just gotta pray that Coventry’s goals dry up, but if they continue in this fashion, they’ll unfortunately walk the league. Haji Wright is the top scorer in the division, while Thomas-Asante and Torp have five each. They are still managing to win games, despite one of their better players in Rudoni being injured.

Yes, some people hate xG, but when you have Jannik Vestergaard leading your xG statistic, you definitely have problems lol

Jobi Macanuff's hair on SSN just now looks just like New Order's Unknown Pleasures album cover.

It's quite striking.

Southampton losing 3-1 to Bristol City

Ipswich losing 3-0 to Charlton

Us losing 2-1 to Hull

Great for the league that non-parachute teams seemingly have a great chance at promotion this year but fvck me we have to be some of the worst relegated sides in a long long time

Cov will go up with zero pressure from anyone unfortunately!

Didn’t we also achieve the lowest combined points from the three relegated clubs last season?

The rot is well and truly set. We needed a reset but had a soft refresh.

The league in general is absolutely atrocious. Not one side has been impressive, any games we've lost or drawn was us being useless rather than opposition quality

League is fine, I feel all these sort of comments are fanboys of pep ball.  I see lots of aggression and fast counter move in the division.  Hulls play for their goals against us was good as well.

8 points behind Coventry. A fall-off like no other.

We not even competing for the same thing, we in a false position due to a very kind starting fixture list.  Top half would be an achievement.

Goals dry up? We have Thomas-Asante and Wright joint 1st on 8 goals each. There's only 2 sides that have scored more than these two players. Then we have Torp joint 3rd on 6 goals with McBurnie. We have another 6 players that have scored this season.

We gave Wright the night off. We've had injuries to our best players. Rudoni is still out. It's so unreal. Lampard won't be leaving in a hurry as he needs to prove himself still. He has turned decent midfielders into very good players.

Our defence is now quite solid. We conceded our first goal in 6 games last night in the 96th minute. Our records are being broke. In the last 2 games alone we've broken another 2. We've won 5 on the bounce with Watford at home and Wrexham away next for another.

I know there's a long way to go but when your GD is the same as the teams in 2nd to 7th and your defence has only let in 1 goal in over 600 minutes you struggle to find negatives.

There's no false position. You're easily the best side we've faced so far. It's a poor quality Championship this season. We beat Millwall 0-4 at their place then they beat WBA 3-0 in their next game. You have a GD of 4. Normally poor for a side after promotion but there's only 3 sides with a better GD. There's only 7 sides with a positive GD.

Our position is definitely false. Most sides we have come up against have looked better than us. Most of our points have come from bits of individual quality. Autos are out the question for us and playoffs are less than realistic. We are very much a lower mid table side.

I for one am extremely envious of the side you have put together.

Yet you were better than us for most of the game. And as you said individual quality. Most sides don't have much. You're joint 4th best on GD.

It isn't as much the players as it is Lampard. He has improved most of our players. He has put one of our strikers in midfield. Thomas-Asante has been pulling sides apart in his new position and has already scored more goals than last season and then he was playing as a striker. Our midfield has been immense and we haven't missed Rudoni who is out with an injury. Our new signings have only just started getting play time as we kept with last seasons team.
