Where’s this about the expansion coming from? Surely that’s dead in the water as we can’t fill the ground now. The time we needed more was during the era that has now passed and won’t be coming back.

They’ve essentially paid for it, taken out a colossal loan to start it. It can’t be dead in the water because that’s essentially millions down the drain…… surely they have to start? Plus it’s to the clubs benefit if they build that indoor arena, that should be the priority.

I know this is completely random but does anyone else really like Nathan Jones..? No doubt if he was our manager I’d want him gone but I’ve always found the hate he gets a bit OTT

Don't get the dislike for him, either.

Perhaps someone could explain a reason why.

Just seems like a workaholic.

Presumably (albeit sadly) they'll have a hefty points deduction?

Sad it's come to this but now it'll be a fresh start with hopefully some wiser and more sensible owners that actually care, if there is such a thing...

12 points. They're on -6 now.

That winning goal for Preston last night was so old school and I love it! Winger beats his man, left footed cross from the left (how it used to use), and bang, powerful header. Simple but effective. But not as effective as Vestergaard and Faes playing better themselves clearly.

Yes, and potentially worse because they don’t have the colossal wage bill we still have for this level. We’re not going to go up this season, and we’ve got to really to help sort the finances out. The theory that a few years at this level will stabilise us is wrong, it won’t, it will mean our financial potion will continue to diminish and we will likely have to sell any saleable asset for cheap to just alleviate the financial pressure.

We will also probably decide to start this expansion at the wrong time, placing us under more financial pressure. And if we do get a points deduction, we could end up being relegated depending on how severe it is.

Our ownership isn’t far off Wednesdays, it would only take more financial pressure and I could see Top doing similar.

For me, the writings on the wall, they’ve managed to **** up the clubs position on a biblical level, so I think it’s safe to assume in a few short seasons we could end up in a similar position to Sheffield Wednesday.

Never say never, especially when our finances are as precarious as ours are.

I agree this is a possibility. It was under Vichai too. Don't believe that they would have had the attachment they did later on when things were going well.

But there's a lot of what ifs here. There's nothing to suggest we can't go up. We were shocking first half other night but the draws have been costing us and we can turn them into wins.

This isn't time for panic. Yet.

Agree that it isn’t panic stations as of yet. We are a work in progress, but for me there’s more red flags than there are positive signs at the moment. And I just have this feeling this is the type of group what will just crumble….. there’s probably one positively strong personality in the group, and that’s Fatawu and he can’t rely on him to be the focal point, he’s too young.

It’s early days, but I even thought Marti sounded fed up in his presser, he looked and sounded tired……

It’s their time in the sun, we had our. Let move on

To be fair, I don't begrudge them. They've had it rougher than most over the past 15-20 years.

Massively jealous of Coventry. We have never sunk so low

tbf Cov have been a decent championship outfit for a while, Robins built a good squad there before he got the boot, lampard has just continued that

thats the way im looking at it too, not like they are even remotely going to do anything this club has done the last 10 years

Someone on here suggested there "wasn't much between us and Cov apart from goals" the other week lol

didnt beat us now, and we was the better team that day too

all in all tho, theyve got a more settled squad, manager etc

compared to us, who frankly are no where near in that respect
