If you break the season down into 3 parts. With the international breaks as the cut off for each part. 
 

Part 1: decent start - 3 wins but the 1 defeat was disappointing. 
 

Part 2: disappointing - by no means disastrous but drawing 4 games with 2 of those games against Oxford and Wrexham it’s fair to be disappointed with the return. Getting the win against Swansea was crucial. That being said, Jordan James has come into the side. Winks back in. Mavididi still out sorts. Change in defence. It’s still a side finding its rhythm .
 

Part 3: which we are about to enter absolutely needs to be where we kick on. I think it’s important for our challenge. 5 of the next 6 are sides who are unlikely to be up there. The 6th being a side who might have had a great start but might be resetting to a lower position. With a side more settled and two weeks behind a lot of them, it’s important this is the phase we find our rhythm.

That's not how a manager should be or should think, at times in management probably got to start from scratch and develop the squad you have got. It's all part of management. You can't expect to walk into a club and expect it to be perfect.

I meant team as in people around him - staff - not team as in the players.

I think there has been interested parties to buy the club just the owner is stubborn on the price tag. Is it 100million he wants for the club or something?

 

Mike Ashley is apparently is very interested in the club.

a club with the history of Sheffield Wednesday shouldn't be finding themselves in this position (it's tragic when ANY club does) - growing up (born in 82) they were a really strong team, reaching and winning cup finals. 

 

It's such a shame in terms of where they have ended up.

It's just their 80s-00s badge basically isn't it? Better than what they've got now. Seen plenty of folk moaning it's following that cheap roundel trend (your Stevenages, your MKs, your Bristol Citys, your Alaveses) after Man City changed their badge in 2016 but it's not really jumping on a bandwagon if they're going back in time is it. Just jamming the dates in either side is a bit naff, clubs get a hard on for that for some reason.

 

If they just took the lion from that crest and had only that on a shirt it'd look class.

honestly what's best for them. The issue hasn't been a lack of interest in buying them but Chansiri being a prat, so going into admin and prepped for a sale basically will get him out without that issue.

 

points deduction is obviously an issue though
