Whatever your thought on feelings on him as an LCFC players (probably not very positive). I thought his stint as a pundit on RL yesterday (the post game stuff) was excellent.

He was clear, articulate, informative, insightful and interesting to listen to (compared to some much more highly regarded ex-players). Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just me or anyone else think this?

Thought he just towed the line, I turned off when he started harping on about how well Reid and Daka played lol? co-commentator needs to be a former player that has an affinity to the club and cares

Blimey I'll have to listen back as he came across as a complete and utter tool when he played for us

Hence the revolution part.

The bad rap he gets is totally unjustified.Always found him to be one of the better pundits on TalkSport whenever he’s been on.He’s lived a bit which helps.

Also came to the rescue of an elderly lady who had collapsed during Covid,on his way to TalkSport duty which he immediately down played. That and other positive stuff I’ve heard about him.

Watched him a number of times when on EFL Sky coverage last season. He's knowledgeable and likeable.

lol. He's an absolute ****. Genuinely scummy. Remember him smashing up David Forde's face with an elbow and then laughing when asked about it in the post match interview.

I couldn’t believe he was doing it but he was good - second in the queue to Pipes definitely…

Fryatt is  the worst - says nothing that you wouldn’t hear in the pub ..Howard not much better, Stowell is dull as well but he does know more about the internal thinking of the club and offers the occasional insight - even if it’s not a quarter of what he knows.

It's "toed" as in toes on the line. You're welcome.

I thought he came across really really well and enjoyed listening to him.

He was talking about one of the players being sold an ‘obvious dummy’ and how they are making stuff harder for themselves by not reading the game. And comparing the foul throw to that of his 11 year old son playing Sunday league with his mates! Bloody loved him.

I think it was the Leeds game last year and he was hugely over the top in his support of Leeds especially as he'd played for us.

He comes across okay on the podcast but it's not changed my mind he's still a massive bellend
