LCFC Supporter Bans.

It’s one of many reasons to dislike the ownership. It’s a culture that has been allowed to set in and it comes from the ‘Top’, either he or the board condones it or they don’t know what is happening at the club they run.
 

Just a completely moronic way of running a football club. After they ban any dissenting voices, while pricing out any new fans, who’s left? Genuinely think the club would be happier with 20k in the stadium and a ‘family club’ industry award. Nice and safe, no criticism.

One of the replies in @Dan's post, somebody was genuinely blaming Rudkin as though he's the one instigating this stuff .

 

Bored of saying it, but nothing really changes unless Top/KP go. They'll just get some other lackey in to replace Rudkin

The things is if we spent 3 years in the Championship, the club would be doing absolutely everything to make sure they get fans in. While it's a few thousand waiting list for a season ticket and full houses every week, you see the utter contempt they have for us as individuals.

Gutted for the lads that have been banned. What’s even more infuriating is that they’re perhaps some of our most loyal supporters. 
 

The club don’t like anyone that goes against the grain or who isn’t afraid to speak out when they see something they don’t agree with. 
 

What on earth has happened to our once wonderful club.

I remember reading/hearing an account of an elderly couple who’d been fans for decades. Sadly, the wife was being treated for cancer at the time, they contacted the club and the club said you can sell it back X times but nothing else we can do.

 

With no choice, other than to let the tickets go to waste they sold them on Facebook, the next game stewards asked to see the buyer’s ID and tickets, they obviously didn’t match.

 

The couple were banned.

This club is an utter disgrace and I genuinely don’t think I’ll have that passion back for Leicester unless there’s a change of ownership.

A mate of mine got banned for 3 games and had to sign a ‘behavioural contract’ where he can’t slate the club on social media- all because he purchased our others mates ticket who accidentally stepped over the advertising hoardings at VP 2 years ago 

Let's be fair, you deserved it for such awful wordplay... 

 

They should have given you a free ST for opening their eyes to the reality of the situation

I don't think these things and the team itself being dire are some coincidence. The club is utterly rotten.

I flat out refused to go whilst he was in charge anyway. Then after he’d gone, I went on my mates tickets

 

My ban/block on buying tickets only came to light this season for Villa (h) where my mate wanted to electronically transfer the ticket over to me.

 

I ended up on the phone with Jim, who sorted the block, once he’d established I was Brenda and Zak. He gave me a mild talking to about how it was ‘probably the right sentiment’ but I ‘should’ve been getting behind the team instead’

This club is ****ed. Literally the worst run club in all 4 divisions. If this lot stay at the club we could be heading to division 2 - at least we’ll have the chance to get the full set.

Almost three weeks since we first wrote to them, ending the email by basically saying we want to get round a table and speak about this, and it's just radio silence. And before someone suggests it, no it didn't go to Jim.

Logic dictates that yes. But I'm not so sure. The club, and Whelan in particular, appears to loathe the supporters. 

 

Seems absurd. But the evidence is there, year after year. The bans. Charity Shield.Moscow. Warsaw. The no general sale debacle last season. The refusal to publicise general sale. 

 

If there are, say, four broad demographics that follow City, Whelan despises three of them. Only that weird, compliant, Facebook, streets of Eindhoven 'palm Sunday' brigade are wanted, bowing and scraping and munching on coconuts

 

Edit; sadly that last demographic described above constitutes around 75% of our support in the stadium

Strewth! Reading all this is making me really feel paranoid.

So-much-so, I'm glad we no longer have floodlight pylons at each corner of the ground - I've convinced myself that KP would hire 4 marksman to take up positions there and take out any ringleaders on Saturday.

The sad part is I think the club are genuinely oblivious to how many fans are feeling with this kind of treatment.

 

They still think people are going to be scrambling for tickets next season despite us struggling to sell out big games this year.

 

They're completely alienating the people they should be desperate to keep on side.

 

We're fighting for a our lives through their incompetence, yet the actual SUPPORT and I don't mean bodies in seats, are less and less of a priority. I refuse to believe club can think how they think, particularly at this level.
