Love a conspiracy, but surely the club is worth more in the PL. The decrease in wages would dwarf the loss in revenue you'd have thought, last night was bizarre though, don't think I've ever seen commentators so shocked at how a side or a manager is going g about the game

True  ... but selling this club with its assets namely the playing staff and the wages / contracts they are on does not look good.... its like owning a property and having a sitting tenant you need rid of

He either needs to go or he needs to relaise a drastic change is needed. Like whne we stayed up in 14/15 we changed to 5-3-2.

i actually think our defence is that bad playing 5 at the back is required

GK Mads

RWB Justin

CB Okoli

CB Faes

CB Coady

LWB Kris

CM Ndidi

CM Winks

AMC Bilal

ST Vardy

ST Daka

Agree on 3 atb but would go slightly different in the attacking positions. Also, I don't want Faes anywhere near this team

GK Mads

RWB Coulibaly

CB Okoli

CB Coady

CB Justin

LWB Kristiansen

CM Ndidi

CM Ricardo

AMC Bilal

AMC Facu

ST Daka (with Vardy as the impact sub)

Alternatively, swap Bilal with Ricardo, and play Mavididi and Facu behind the striker - Mavidid looked good in the friendlies as a no.10.

Where's the "can't afford to sack him" come from? Just put him on gardening leave, there doesn't have to be an immediate financial hit other than the new manager salary.

People keep saying this but is it even possible under UK law wouldn't it be classed as Constructive Dismissal?

I wouldn't be confident on the legality to be honest though a quick Google suggests employers can put in specific gardening leave terms in a contract. We've seen clubs like Chelsea do it with Potter recently too.

I’m sure we’re just sorting out his replacement. And if you believe that you’ll believe anything.

And Rudkins replacement too

He just won't change it, he's far too stubborn.

The team is better suited to a 3-5-2 given our defensive issues, it's clear to see. Get rid of Faes and Vestergaard (Justin, Coady and Okoli instead as the 3 CBs), and play individuals who care for the club.

Can only remember us playing 5 ATB once this season and we got hammered 4-1 by Brentford, don't think it's a silver bullet. But we do need to change something.

Fair point, but that was one defeat with caretakers and limited time to train a new formation. RVN has tried 4-2-3-1 and lost 11 out of 12.

Fair enough I hadn't really looked into gardening leave specifically just reminded me of constructive dismissal cases I'd heard of

If cooper had the results this man would have, this thread would have 100x the pages.

It’s lazy to say it was the wrong decision to sack Cooper, however - Ruud is getting away with murder.

He is right there in the conversation for worst premier league manager of all time and there’s not a peep in the stands about people wanting him gone.

The approach to him sums up the shit show at the club - total apathy.

He’s been dealt a poor hand by the club with the terrible squad and the lack of investment but he dosent help himself with his team selections, subsititition, reluctance to change etc.

Hes so far out of his depth, the stats and records are getting messy now and he needs removing for his own sake

Absolutely massive regression under RVN, I knew he wouldnt match Cooper, but this is something, now a record of 7 league defeats with no goals.

Watched the game, clear defensive coaching issues, and didnt look a threat for the entire game.  We gone from Cooper getting too much out of the squad to RVN not getting enough.

Gobsmacked he didnt quit as well, no way quitting would damage his rep more than this record.

I know longer watch every game as well, which says a lot.  I like to see us make an effort to compete, to get in opponents faces, there is too much Enzo mentality instead.

I see it as proof Cooper was sacked for style of play. Results were claimed, under achieving was claimed, yet here we are RVN still in a job.

He's lucky he has his reputation as a player because he should never get a top flight job ever again, based on his managerial 'talent'. Miles out of his depth.

He should go, but I think it won't happen until the new accounting year. He doesn't know what to do and has no experience of the Championship.

Let's not forget Cooper had just lost 4-1 and apparently had lost the dressing room, so that was not a workable situation either.

Any other club would have sacked him by now. 7 consecutive home games without a goal is a disgrace.
