tomtom Posted 22 June 2025 Posted 22 June 2025 In an interview with Gary Lineker, Dyche mentions his long term friend at Leicester John Rudkin... So of course Rudkin will want a manager who he thinks won't turn on him 1 1
FrankieADZ Posted 22 June 2025 Posted 22 June 2025 its never going to end well if Rudkin and Dyche are friends means we'll be in another Rodgers situation, where IF he does come, and has a woeful run etc, he wont get sacked for at least 6 months before he should have 3

Popular Post JimmyC74 Posted 22 June 2025 Popular Post Posted 22 June 2025 Likely to be at least 8 more days of radio silence before a decision on the manager, which when it comes will be seen as underwhelming by some. No news on transfers incoming / outgoing but potential points deductions and other sanctions (maybe transfer embargo) hanging over the Clubs head and no change in who runs our great Club. Would be great if there is a plan which we can all get behind so we can look forward with some optimism…but no chance of that being communicated…..feel increasingly disconnected from the Club. 5
TheGoldenGod Posted 22 June 2025 Posted 22 June 2025 Don't want Dyche, simple. A million years of waiting for THAT. 4
Popular Post UniFox21 Posted 22 June 2025 Popular Post Posted 22 June 2025 The fact we're having to wait to sack a manager due to PSR is hilarious. PSR was meant to stop clubs going bust, not to stop them carrying out normal operations 25

RedSoxUK Posted 22 June 2025 Posted 22 June 2025 I still don't get the "can't sack Ruud because of PSR" angle. Did we commit to him knowing we wouldn't be able to sack him? Did we spend 2/3m on Coulibaly, knowing we could have used that money to sack Ruud if needed?

Ideally would be better for a manager to come in and call out the current crop similar to enzo. 2

Remember we also had to rely on selling Tom Cannon for £10m to even get to that stage. Shambolic.

UniFox21 Posted 22 June 2025 Posted 22 June 2025 Rudkin and Dyche being mates is up there with most unlikely friendships.

TheGoldenGod Posted 22 June 2025 Posted 22 June 2025 If he's appointed Dyche will have to win ME over. Not giving him the benefit of the doubt. We're fans at the end of the day and he's going to be an employee on a massive salary comparable to the layman. If he doesn't utilise Nelson/Alves/Monga and the like i'll set my stall out early! 3
FrankieADZ Posted 22 June 2025 Posted 22 June 2025 would love to know why some want Dyche? other than "hes what the club needs right now"
Popular Post funkyrobot Posted 22 June 2025 Popular Post Posted 22 June 2025 With no big lump up front, no hard men at the back and with a squad and youth system built around a possession game and players that absolutely don’t fit Dyche’s system, it makes absolutely NO sense to give him the job…. ……So he’ll get the job 🥴 7
winteriscoming Posted 22 June 2025 Posted 22 June 2025 The problem I can see is our clowns will look at last season who went up - Farke and Parker both experienced managers in the championship and believe that’s the way to go. So I can see it being Dyche. Not that I want him.
CWLCFC Posted 22 June 2025 Posted 22 June 2025 Got a feeling waiting until July will make it easier to pay comp for Rohl, for PSR reasons. But might not have to pay for him in a couple of weeks depends if they get taken over. 1
