The article talks about him wanting to come back to the UK, to be with his partner. Does anyone know where she lives (I guess, London, if she is / was with Sky)? That could be important - nearer Leicester, or Southampton.

Would think the club would be happy for her to stay at Seagrave if needed as well so she could recuperate in private, far away from the cameras.

Watford or North London I think (she was in Hospital there) - so closer to us than Southampton (mind you, she went to Uni there). And did someone say she used to work for us?

That was @Super_horns , resident Watford fan..or pretends to be (we know when your loyalties really are Horns ;))

Probably.

I am sure either would be ok .

Better than being stuck in France .

She's went to Southampton University,  maybe she might want to return there 🤔

Will Still isn’t going to join a club based on where his girlfriend lives or supports.
It will be purely on who he thinks gives him the best opportunity to develop his coaching and potentially manage in the premiership.
It really is a no brainer to go for him as he’s readily available now.
So obviously these idiots will either stick with Ruud or we’ll end up with Dyche or Martin.

If it’s Will Still, we need to get creative with the chant. Still Dre is there to be had!

I also have a Stihl cap that I was given at an event about 10 years ago, I’ll proudly rock that every game.

The only difference maker will be which club hierarchy he perceives as most supportive of his situation. If she's in Hertfordshire or North London, there's very little difference in commuting distance between Leicester and Southampton. He'll probably want a club who are sympathetic and have a bit of flexibility. Given that we let our second choice CB's dog stay at Seagrave and go for walkies, I doubt they're going to have too many problems with a bit of flexibility for Will Still's girlfriend and her recovery.

Same agent as Vestergaard

Happy days, they will know they will get a crazy contract out of us

Still has?

Sill or Rohl would be decent appointments!

And we will 100% be interested in him because he battered is last pre season.

Still has shown flexibility in terms of formations both at Reims and Lens. He played three at the back on a number of occasions for Reims, but his main formations were 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 which would suit us perfectly. At Lens he’s mainly played 3-4-2-1 or similar, there’s a good reason why he’s stuck mainly with that system because their previous manager Franck Haise played it.

If he adopted this kind of approach from his time at Reims, I think it would suit us after some transfer market tweaks.

He likes to encourage building from the back, but after watching Reims it didn’t feel like a total necessity. He likes to have at least one centre back with long passing range, at Reims it was either Agbadou or Okumu using that trait, mainly to exploit the pace of Ito, Nakamura, Daramy to get behind defences, of course this tactic would suit Fatawu and Mavididi perfectly. In midfield he had Matusiwa as the energetic holder, a very competent player at winning possession. Munetsi now at Wolves was used as a 8/10 box crasher. Teuma was the technical piece of the midfield. Up front in his first season he had Balogun, second season he had Diakite. Balogun was excellent at playing off the shoulder and getting in behind defences. Diakite was more on the physical side.

With a few changes to the midfield and the inevitable new striker, if Still produces this setup at Leicester, I think it would be suitable.

He’ll probably end up at Southampton though, so if any kind soul wants to post this on their forum, I’d be grateful lol

Yep, or at least same agency group

Hijack it then.

Make him a decent offer. The compensation package that would otherwise need to go to Sheffield Wednesday (to be clear, I wouldn't be against Rõhl coming here) could be his signing on package.

Well they went for Enzo who was a unknown and tested at this level, bit of a risk.

Feel Still is in the same boat, bit of a risk but well worth it 👌

Enzo by all accounts sought out the club rather than the other way around.

I could be completely wrong but do we ever go after managers and make the first contact with them or do we just wait and see if they apply for the job?
Apart from Rodgers and Pearsons second spell I don’t think we have.

Unsurprising, he was starting to get linked with Southampton way before yesterday’s news broke.

With the circumstances we’ve been through this season, it would be typical Leicester if he ended up at Southampton, Rohl ends up in Germany and we end up sticking with Ruud or turning to Dyche or Martin.

If they want Still, he's gettable.

Sign a pre-contract agreement for him to take over on July 1st and pay off RVN on the same day.

Just get RVN out the door next as soon as the coach gets back from Bournemouth next week.

Why wait that long?
