Fans have had enough on a variety of issues and this is the result. The club could do something about it to placate but nothing reported as imminent.

 

Players and managers who delivered the success were moved on. They didn't get a free pass, excused, a job for life.

Anyone got any evidence of past ownerships of clubs similar to ours that have had success in the modern era, then overseen mind blowing decline, initially refused to make ruthless changes to learn from our mistakes, eventually made such changes and steered the club back to something their fanbase can be proud of?

As someone pointed out recently. Our success does not belong to King Power, it belongs to Leicester city, this football club will always belong to the fans (although under this now dictatorship it appears to no longer belong to the community that birthed it)…. 
 

King Powers arrival coincided with a birth of a well run club. Nigel Pearson (as much as some people hate to a knowledge it)….. picked a club up on its arse, and turned it in to an efficient machine. The foundations he build from the backroom to the pitch created a platform for success. 
 

Mistakes were made even in the early years and the years of success, however, Vichai’s business mind and experience and those around him were able to navigate these mistakes without them causing too many problems. 
 

After his tragic passing, that experience has dissipated, integral members of the club that helped to yield that initial success also started to disappear, and gradually the club has eroded. 
 

Top has done nothing but oversee a decline, the success under him was a result of the generation his father helped to maintain, and since then the club has wasted away. We were about a decade ahead of the likes of Fulham, Forest, Brighton, and Bournemouth. And even teams like Spurs…. In fact, anyone who hasn’t won a UCL in the last 20 years we’ve bettered or at least matched…. Top and his boardroom have now put us about a decade behind all of those teams….. teams who have had no success, teams who can only dream of what we have achieved, are now light years ahead of us. 
 

I’ve said it many times, but this is not a simple case of “liccle Leicester City” falling back in line…. This is a catastrophic string of amateur errors that have pissed away a decade of hard work. 
 

King Power are responsible, and they’ve either got to sell the club, or Top has to see sense, and restructure his boardroom with experienced football people.

King Power's arrival wasn't just "coincidental" with City's rise, much as the Pearson cultists may wish to claim otherwise.  It was actually a crucial component of it.

 

Although Vichai scaled back slightly on the transfer spending that was a feature of his early years in charge, he still provided the funding for NP to sign Morgan, Drinkwater, James, Knockaert, Mahrez, Vardy and Wood among others - all players who were key to our 2014 Championship success (and, in several cases, that which followed later)

 

Vichai also deserves massive credit for fighting our corner at a time when many other EFL clubs - including QPR, Forest and even Bournemouth - were showing open contempt for so-called "financial fair play" rules.  It's easy to forget just how much of a dogfight the Championship was in those days (even more so than it is now) and while King Power's accounting methods did not receive universal acclaim, they reflected our owners' ambition to do whatever it took to reach the promised land - and stay there.

 

It's also often overlooked on here how long our success continued after Aiyawatt took charge, with FOUR successive top 10 finishes, several cup runs and a long-awaited FA Cup triumph. Although the record during that time could and should have been better, we still regularly outperformed many clubs with far greater resources and fanbases than ours, including Spurs, Villa, West Ham. Everton, Newcastle and Leeds.

 

Unfortunately, complacency set in and Aiyawatt persisted with key individuals (Brendan Rodgers and Jon Rudkin in particular) long after both should have been moved on, as their limitations, which eventually turned the club into a toxic mess, became apparent.

 

Had the owner displayed the same ruthlessness towards them that his father did towards Pearson, Ranieri and others, we may well have been spared the current malaise.

 

Instead, though, he seems hell-bent on repeating past grievous errors rather than learning from them.

 

But for all the fine words about the club "belonging to its fans", reality, together with the records at Companies House, suggests otherwise.

 

It may take several more years of Aiyawatt pouring money into a financial black hole before he decides his time at the club has finally run it's course.

Very narrow minded view to suggest this in my opinion. 
 

King Power one day will cease to own this football club, probably in most of us on here’s lifetime. We were here before, and will be after. 
 

The club still belongs to the city, and in tern the supporters.

 

It’s about time they acknowledged this again, because their treatment of us is frankly appalling.

It isn't about companies house. That an irrelevance. 

 

 Fans could render KPs shares and years of.investment completely worthless overnight. And, no matter how much KP (or any other owners)  invest, the can't buy a history nor emotions nor generational support.

We had a few refunds having moved away from ‘Premier Ambitions, Amateur Decisions’ to the very hard hitting ‘King Power Out’.  But we’re still slightly over target so good to go. 

 

After receiving a few over the top hissy fit messages including “I hope you die in a plane crash” from an ‘anonymous’ person on GoFundMe, I shared an update with donors via GoFundMe, which is: “King Power Clueless. Rudkin Out”, which has been incredibly way more receptive as it still holds King Power accountable for poor leadership and their apparent lack of direction in running the club right now. But more importantly, it focuses the bulk of our frustration on Rudkin, where it belongs.  Personally I think this is a good option as it bridges the gap between those of us who want to send a message to King Power but also for those who don’t want to call them out so directly, bearing in mind we all pretty much want Rudkin out. 

Without wanting to drag out the banner decision even more and potentially open the door to another tsunami of hilariously angry grown adults, we could even have: “King Power Clueless. Sack the board” if we wanted to go broader than Rudkin. 

 

So that’s where we are.  
 

I spoke to the pilot. He’s done around 1000 football stadium events in his time (including the KP)  - he did Vichai’s birthday message a few years back. He’s all locked in and ready to roll. 
 

The letters will be black. (It was either black or red). 
 

It will be in the skies 10-15 mins pre-kick off and then circling for 5-10mins post kick off.

King power Clueless - Sack The Board.

 

Is much better than King Power Out.

 

Its taking aim at all in charge at the Top, which is the right approach.

It shows how clueless Top is, he could release a statement full of platitudes promising to change and appoint a new director, not even replacing Rudkin and 50% of the wavering fans would be on board again for a season. 
 

Instead it’s the KP modus operandi of say absolutely nothing.

I can't get behind 'King Power Out'. They continue to invest in the club - £80m odd spent last summer, after years on years of spending more than we recouped, writing off debts and investing in local charities.

 

Yes almost all of that recent spend has been wasted, but it's the people making the decisions on who to buy we should criticise, not the guy signing the cheques.

 

There is definitely accountability needed for Top and his family, he has shown far too much loyalty and faith in poor appointments. I think we should be focusing our efforts on getting those executives changed, not calling for new owners.

 

I'm sorry but it also feels crass to be sending a message like that in the airspace where the man's dad lost his life in service to the club.

Agree. Really need to leave Rudkin out as the convenient scapegoat and lets Top and Whelan off Scott free. They are equally as culpable
