If you're a fan, you'll renew. Sorry but the idea that you should not as a form of protest is bollox. By all means dont so I can have one again with my son

I have supported Leicester for a long time. 40 years plus. I have not renewed. I am still a fan but I am not prepared to sit and watch the dross we have been served up this year. If there are not significant changes in the summer it will be the same next year. At the end of the day it is an entertainment industry and this year watching the grass grow has more appeal! If you want to go and watch it that is up to you but I for one am not prepared to do it anymore.

I think delaying any decisions about the future of RVN or other management will have tipped a lot of people who were on the fence into cancelling their subscription. Talking to people that were there on Monday most had renewed but there was almost an entire row of empty seats in front and people leaving after half an hour shaking their heads. I don't suppose the club will release the figures.

Don't kid yourself that by not renewing your making some kind of protest. The club will love the fact that they can sell your seat to a new ST holder for more money than you would have paid. I didn't renew because there has been no indication of change . ( plus loads of 1230 KO next season. ) . I ll watch the streams and support from home if we get a new manager who knows what their doing.

its nothing to do with a protest it is like a break up for me, the club i fell in love with all them years ago is not the same. Football in England is not the same. I have limited time and the thought of wasted it watching half arsed millionaires running away a bit for spoilt billionaires is no longer my idea of fun.

I have renewed, but I'm teetering on the brink.

Still can't come to terms with not being able to go as I choose and not being able to do away games. I also know myself and I wouldn't bring myself to pay the astronomical matchday prices if I didn't have one but changed my mind.

Believe me though, I'm getting there.

There have been several occasions this season where I've not done a home or away game and either watched in the house with a few beers, or had lunch with the other half somewhere and got back home to watch the match by "alternative means." I've found that to be far more enjoyable than dragging myself to watch the shower.

Full respect to those who have given it up. Complete admiration from me.

Surely its a supporter that renews, rather than a 'fan'

Not renewed for a combination of reasons - It's a chore going to games and even last season when we won the league wasn't exciting, can't put my finger on it so it's probably a combination of reasons - compounded by the shit show on and off the pitch this season it's time to put £500 towards something else this year. I'll probably go to the odd game, cup game or whatever when the time is right.

I just can't support what is going on at the club for the time being.

Didnt renew - sick of watching millionaires not giving a shit. It may change next xeason but i doubt it. I will happily pop in for a couple of games next season if the tean are showing any kind of fight but until then i have better things to do with my money ayears gym membership for me and the missus versus cost of season ticket - its a no brainer and i know which will leave me feeling better pysicaally and emotionally. I have given up my season ticket three rimws in the past  after traumatic relegations under McLintock, Taylor and Holloway. I returned eventually under a team and manager that deserved my support in brian Little and then pearson on his second time around. To me there is life outside of not being a season ticket holder although you do wonder at the time is it the right thing to do. Not feeling obliged to go down Filbo regularly to watch teams under Pleat and Levein was blessed relief. I may be back fulltime in the future but by god the team will have to earn my trust again - i dont do blind loyalty.

My decision has nothing to do with protesting. I sincerely hope it allows a new Dad/Mum + kid to go and not have to pay the extortionate matchday costs. I also sincerely hope that things improve and LCFC achieves success again.

I think plenty will not be renewing because they can no longer support the PL

I've started going to my local Non-league and Burton Albion too. But I have renewed, not sure I've made the right decision but my lad likes going to games so while he wants to go with me I have renewed.

There's three games left this season to protest for the people saying that us renewing are the problem. Then hopefully next season will be a fresh start. Although I'm not holding my breath.

The strangest thing for me is that after 20 years it wasn't even a hard decision.

Very at peace with giving it up.

Anyone not enjoying going and renewing just out of habit need to really re-evaluate.

I renewed and my grandson as I believe there will be changes and when it all comes out maybe a few will be apologetic to top

Yes the footy as been dross but it’s also about the day out with mates and after a week at work you can’t beat an away day

No and no - four seats in the family stand. Its largely the state of the club, but also my financial situation has changed, my wife and daughter keep missing games because they have other things on, and my son has lost interest in favour of rugby (a damning indictment of the club to my mind). Will keep two memberships and go to the odd game.

This is when I will get involved in non-league, when it becomes mainstream. Football is about hating your team 80% of the time and then really loving it when it goes well.

With all the moaners going to non-league, it is only a matter of time before they start berating their new teams and players. Watching the Kettering guy on the non league thread profess extreme love for the team before slowly hating them as they got sh1t confirms it is inevitable that this will happen.

Cannot get onboard with all the soppy happy clappers droning on about 'drinking a pint in view of the pitch WOW' and ' the real side of football, it's soooo refreshing' 'no sideways passes OMG'

Explained on here my reasons for renewing before, but they're personal rather than for any affection for the club at this point in time. Think we've got a plan to wrangle the ticket situation given I'm probably going to be going to 10 games tops next season. Just moved 100 miles and will be taking the plunge with non-league instead, including for the rest of this season.

I'm delighted that 38% of you haven't bothered. Even accounting for the KPFC happy clappers, there is going to be a big drop-off in attendance in general next season and it's no less than Top and the Gang deserve.

Dunno what the 'we were in League One once' morons are going to say instead once we end up there again.

It shouldn’t have been exciting if you’re over the age of 25. We shouldn’t have been anywhere near that division in the first place.

lol I’ve had this conversation with this bloke who speaks utter shit all over Twitter who lives in the USA.. I’ve explained he’s a fan as he’s happy to watch a team in blue run around regardless of what league Leicester are in. He wasn’t having any of it :D fan and supporter ain’t the same thing

Top owes the supporters an apology. It certainly isn't the other way around.

If he makes the changes that need to be made then the apology has to come with that. As in "sorry I didn't sort this **** up out sooner".

Oh my, I've heard it all now lol

No wonder we get walked all over as fans with this attitude (regardless of renewing).
