Wycombe Fox Posted 12 April Posted 12 April I read in another thread that RvN wants us to ‘play free’ against Brighton. Was that a typo? Surely he meant ‘play for free’ 🤷♂️
moore_94 Posted 12 April Author Posted 12 April Not a big fan of Kasey but I much prefer him to Ayew and Reid Which isn’t really saying a lot but still 3

Richmondfox Posted 12 April Posted 12 April It will be more of the same. Apart from Bilal and Mads, our squad is lacking in ability, brains and urgency. The same clown show at the back, slow passing around because JJ and Thomas won’t even look forwards to see if they can make a pass. Coady will pass it to the opposition as Ndidi and Soumare either hide or auto pass back. The ball will get blasted to Vardy like at Newcastle and he’ll give it away as he’s too busy pointing. Mav will do 5 step overs before hitting the ball against the defenders legs and Kasey will be running in treacle and turn backwards. Bilal will be the only player pressing, tackling and trying to make things happen, too often on his own. He’ll get booked and run himself into the ground. 2
Calm Posted 12 April Posted 12 April Playing them at the right time... The whole of their first choice defence is out. (Veltman, Van Hecke, Webster, Igor, Lamptey) They're starting the match with only two defenders in the starting 11, 3rd choice CB Dunk (whose turning circle is like an oil tanker) and wingback Estupinan. Presume two of the four CM's are plugging the gaps? (Hinchelwood at RB, maybe Baleba at CB?) On top of this their two best attacking threats in Mitoma and Rutter are out. Sneaky upset on the cards here?

darko2k7 Posted 12 April Posted 12 April (edited) Eventually we will get to use the term "wait for one goal and two come at once!" Won't we ??? Edited 12 April by darko2k7

David Hankey Posted 12 April Posted 12 April Goal down within 10 minutes and another drubbing on the cards.

Claudio Fannieri Posted 12 April Posted 12 April This is probably our best opportunity to break our scoring duck given the injuries and suspensions Brighton are suffering with, wouldn’t be shocked if we do bag a couple but also think we will concede a few, I am predicting 4-2 or 5-2 to Brighton.
Cropwellfox Posted 12 April Posted 12 April Manager clearly isn’t happy enough with his current win percentage and wants it to be a good bit lower. That’s the only logical reason as to why he keeps picking Soumaré. It’s like starting every game with a two goal deficit. He’s the definition of everything wrong with our club. An overpaid, pedestrian, talentless ***** who has absolutely no regard for the fans of the club and will spend the next couple of seasons on loan with us still probably meeting half his wages, until he ****s off for good at the end of his contract. And he’s one of our manager’s first picks week in week out. Truly beyond belief. 2 1

Paninistickers Posted 12 April Posted 12 April I still maintain if we bummed out Coady, Thomas and Soumare and replaced with Vesty, Ricky and Winks (or Skipp) respectively, we aren't anywhere near as bad as the Dutchman wants us to be. 4

burleighfox Posted 12 April Posted 12 April (edited) Nine nil loss. Ruud to be given a ten year deal, freedom of the city and a turn on everyone’s missus as a thank you for all of his contributions. Edited 12 April by burleighfox

Preferrable to those 2 for sure but he won't improve much. The speed of the game (not his pace), is way too much for him at the moment, as in many divisions above his level. Never seen a player take so long to get the ball under control. Nice lad but just don't see it. Watch him score today

And JJ to not move from the right back area. Get Ndidi back to roaming around the back so Vestegaard, Winks and Eicky can concentrate on getting the ball up the pitch. We really missed KDH energy in midfield and replaced him with Steve Wonder. 1

You can tell he over thinks his options and self sabotages.
Tuna Posted 12 April Posted 12 April Big question is can we last more than 3 minutes this time? Conceded on 2 and 3 last two games! 1
SafewayFox Posted 12 April Posted 12 April Minteh is going to have a field day against Thomas. Calling it now 😢
MPH Posted 12 April Posted 12 April So which minute in the first ten minutes are we going to concede? 2nd minute seems to be all the trend these days.
lgfualol Posted 12 April Posted 12 April My whole weekend depended on Monga starting, now I have to watch McAteer. Why is life so cruel?!! 1
