Low low point this isnt it

It is literally the end of the era that brought us more joy than we could ever have imagined. That era had to end one day, and it was always going to be painful when that day came.

Really hope the last 2 home games are good ones and he gets the send off he so richly deserves. Would be great to see him get to 200 goals for the club - and of course score the winner at F*rest.

What a load of bo11ox.

It'll take more than him staying with us to get us promoted next season.

He didn't goto Arsenal when he could.

Probably not bolloc though, 7 goals in the prem for one of the worst teams promoted. Probably thinks he can still do a job and get 10 plus goals and keep his big wage

I find the moment of the announcement rather peculiar. Why not wait until the season is over?

I mean – can we expect the team to play as one for the remaining five PL matches now, in honour of Vardy? Or will the slump, the indifference continue?

Sell some tickets?

The greatest player in our History.

I remember his first game and thought.... '1 million quid? What have we brought?'

A story which no-one will ever come close to emulating. A hero to thousands of young kids.

That implies he was forced into this announcement.

Absolutely buzzing that there will only be 1000 of us balling in the away end to feature on MOTD. There will be full on snot bubbles from me.

I think it's the extension that relegation somehow doesn't hurt him very much. If I was him I'd go to the US for a year and make bank

It should make RVN's press conference a bit easier today if he's given the chance to wax lyrical about Vardy for as long as he wants...

Statue needed. If Vichai gets one, Vardys should eclipse it

Yeah it should be like the Colossus of Rhodes. Towering over the KP

I know he is the GOAT but just following the money I'm afraid. Relegation didn't hurt him enough to stay and take a pay cut to help Leicester back into the Premier league.

It sounds to me as if he doesn’t want to go.  He admits he wants to keep playing.  Championship is his level. I’m sure he’d have stayed if he’d been offered a contract.  Rudkin has said no, which is why he hasn’t thanked him in the message.

Expect to see him go to MLS or Saudi

Our greatest ever player

Get him a statue outside the away end

Someone in my office is saying Wrexham? Any truth?
