Sad day. I'd rather he went aboard, dont want to see him play against us.

If he stays in England, he’s not going to be playing against us in the championship I can tell you that for free.

Would any of the big 6 pick him up as a back up that plays Europe/cup/rotation? I’d love to see what he could do even at 38 surrounded by actual footballers.

Probably not thinking about it.

Forest?.....  :ph34r::ph34r:

Nah but seriously he/they wouldn't would they??????

I haven’t been for the last 5 games and had no intention of going again this season but I will now go Ipswich just to give him the send off he deserves. The rest of them need to skulk off the pitch at full time in embarrassment and leave him on his own to take all the adulation he merits .

Am sort of thinking the same. Said I would stay away and have done for a while. Want to give vards a send of but being  put off by the fact I will want to hurl dogs abuse at the others.

Yes leaving last season would have been best but he wanted to finish in style this season in the premier league. It’s not panned out that way but he’s going anyway.

Goodbye Vards you are forever our club legend and fearless fighting fox. The memories of you and Mahrez lighting it up brings a smile everytime I think about it.

please come to the MLS (hopefully Cali) and I’ll travel to watch ya!

Inevitable, as some have said it does feel like the end of our successful era and we now enter a new one of uncertainty and obscurity while we try and figure out how to fix this mess.

But this isn't about that for now, just about him, the best we ever had and probably ever will have. If the club has anything left about it they will retire the number 9 shirt and get a statue built ASAP.

Going to take some time to come to terms with this and see him play for someone else even if it is in America.

Cheers for everything you absolute king.

Statue yes, but I hate this retiring shirts thing.

There may be a young Leicester fan who works his way through the academy one day, wearing the number 9 should be a motivation. Besides, number 9 is kind of an important number in football.

I'm sad that I'm not that sad. I thought I'd be devastated but the state of the club and this season, I just feel meh about pretty much everything.

Will go down as our undisputed goat but I'm struggling to care about anything LCFC related at the moment.

6 hours now. Knew it was coming. Know it’s the right thing. But f**k me this hurts more than the two relegations in 3 years. He’s been the constant in the club through the good times and the bad over these 13 years. It feels a bit like we’ve lost some identity with this decision and it’s a big unknown as to who can step up next.

Numbers mean nothing. Danny Ward has been our Number 1 for 3 seasons!!

You know, Celtic could very much be a possibility. Top up the trophy cabinet and play with Kasper again.

Always got the impression they weren't that close.

Might just be me.

Not even to bid farewell to the GOAT? You need to change your display name. I wouldn’t miss it for anything. It’s been a pleasure and at times hilarious, watching a player who engages with the fans so much. He’s a throwback to the days of tough battles against an opponent, where both are giving everything and enjoy that close combat style of play. There are so many petulant whinges these days it’s refreshing to have that aggression. Good luck Jamie and thanks so much for the memories.

Not wasting another weekend on this crock of shite, Vardy or not. They all deserve to be loudly boo'd off, except Vardy. The rest of the clowns will be lauding the applause.

Forest can **** off. Find your own legend instead of sniffing round ours.

Behave.

He wouldn't and, as painful as it might be to admit, they'll want better now.
