EnderbyFox Posted 4 July 2025 Posted 4 July 2025 There has not even been a crumb of speculation in the media to any manager has there? Absolute radio silence, i'm not expecting anything for at least a week yet. Such a waste of time 2

Given the parties and technical details involved it may yet take some time. If Rohl is the right guy it may necessitate a degree of patience from us, a quality not, shall we say, frequently observed on FoxesTalk! To me, that sounds more like he's not (as things stand) on his way here. Maybe he's not interested in going from one troubled club to another. Maybe we've been put off and looked elsewhere. Maybe we've been slow in getting the recruitment process underway, and may yet get round to looking at him. Or, equally likely, those BBC comments are based on scant information and we shouldn't read too much into them. But the implication is clearly that nobody is currently waiting on Rohl.

Can't remember if he said favourite or not.

But we have a track record of sacking managers and seemingly not having any idea who might come next. But in this situation when RvN sacking was the biggest open secret in football for about 2 months, it is even more astounding. Edited 4 July 2025 by Wasyls Pec Deck
mozartfox Posted 4 July 2025 Posted 4 July 2025 There always the chance that Rudderless is in conversation with the Seattle Sounders about releasing Preki??

FoxFossil Posted 4 July 2025 Posted 4 July 2025 Given the bizzare contract situation at Wednesday, I'd be amazed if all their staff aren't lawyered up, including Rohl. Trying to get anything resolved with Lawyers involved is always a nightmare, as they will complicate, as time is money, and they have an interest in delaying whilst 'on the clock'.
VintageFox73 Posted 4 July 2025 Posted 4 July 2025 Wont be Dyche ( my preferred option ) as you would of thought he would be in by now Not sure about Rohl if I'm honest , think we need someone who's able to handle the egos and there is plenty of them
Turtle27 Posted 4 July 2025 Posted 4 July 2025 @skySportsNews Jon Rudkin will be announced as the new manager of Leicester City Football Club. He has decided to step away from his current position of director of football and return to Football Management. He has previously coached Leicester’s academy. 1 2

I had a dream a few weeks back that he became manager and took us on a long winning run playing exciting free flowing football while all the crowd stood there looking at their shuffling feet in awkward silence.

grth2004 Posted 4 July 2025 Posted 4 July 2025 Wouldn’t it be nice if the club just put out a message to ask for patience as they are looking for the right manager to take over , at least we would have something not this silent 🤫 secret rubbish which I find disrespectful to the fans. 1
Popular Post Groby_Blue Posted 4 July 2025 Popular Post Posted 4 July 2025 So, we’re the only club across all the leagues who don’t have a manager. Not one single player has come in or gone out. We haven’t even released the new kit yet as apparently, we don’t have a sponsor. First pre-season game is tomorrow against Peterborough. All we have is a couple of coaches taking pre-season up to now. The club has effectively shut down. 20 1

Not that they should be the benchmark set. 1

We seem to be sitting on our hands due to a total lack of any competence, anywhere in the club.

Trav Le Bleu Posted 4 July 2025 Posted 4 July 2025 Dan-ny, Dan-ny! Wednesday play in white and blue. Dan-ny, Dan-ny! Do you know that we do too? Dan-ny, Dan-ny! We'd be so good for you-oooooo-ooooo!
