To me, that sounds more like he's not (as things stand) on his way here. Maybe he's not interested in going from one troubled club to another. Maybe we've been put off and looked elsewhere. Maybe we've been slow in getting the recruitment process underway, and may yet get round to looking at him. Or, equally likely, those BBC comments are based on scant information and we shouldn't read too much into them. But the implication is clearly that nobody is currently waiting on Rohl.

Percy said that his sources have ruled out Dyche and that Rohl is expected to be a target. Can't remember if he said favourite or not.

But we have a track record of sacking managers and seemingly not having any idea who might come next. But in this situation when RvN sacking was the biggest open secret in football for about 2 months, it is even more astounding.

Given the bizzare contract situation at Wednesday, I'd be amazed if all their staff aren't lawyered up, including Rohl. Trying to get anything resolved with Lawyers involved is always a nightmare, as they will complicate, as time is money, and they have an interest in delaying whilst 'on the clock'.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the club just put out a message to ask for patience as they are looking for the right manager to take over , at least we would have something not this silent 🤫 secret rubbish which I find disrespectful to the fans.

So, we’re the only club across all the leagues who don’t have a manager.

 

Not one single player has come in or gone out.

 

We haven’t even released the new kit yet as apparently, we don’t have a sponsor.

 

First pre-season game is tomorrow against Peterborough. All we have is a couple of coaches taking pre-season up to now.

 

The club has effectively shut down.

Yep, but Wednesday are a 'special case' with an absolute nutjob of an owner.
