Totally unacceptable that the club is going to sleepwalk into another avoidable mess.

It’s been a brilliant decade to be a Leicester fan but you just can’t see it getting any better any time soon with these helmets in charge.

It has to be him now surely?

Anybody else would have been in place for the beginning of pre season or am I putting to much faith in the melts at the top lol

One of the problems with modern life, everyone expects things completed yesterday. My hope, but with little faith, is that they are working to ensure they acquire their number one target, hopefully Rohl. If that process takes a little longer than expected due to legal issues, I'm happy to wait if this ensures we get the right man. The worry is that pursuing the right man and then they turn us down which appears to be a repeated issue at Board level and we end up with the same situation as last Summer.

I just feel they want Rohl, as anyone out of work would have been appointed by now, wouldn't they?

Yes they would. The club is clearly trying to get Rohl. It's just a matter of whether it's possible to extricate him from Sheffield Wednesday in time for him to have a proper pre-season with us. You'd assume there must be a cut-off date at which we'll look elsewhere...

That's money laundering 😂

It is yes!

Basically dodgy football dealings!

It’s one of the things Man City are being done for.

They must have known they're getting rid of Ruud for at least 2 months...

They genuinely did take a 4-6 week holiday after the season ended didn't they.

Yes, I think they did.

The total lack of any transfer movement in or out on top of the lack of manager (and coaches) speaks volumes.

The board are absolutely useless.

Has anyone posted any bizarre but definitely true stories about their nan doing cartwheels across the M69 during rush hour to celebrate the loan signing of Luigi Glombard before she treated them to a happy meal at McDonalds where they got a miniature Lily Allen figure but had it pickpocketed on the way home by an old man with a peg leg holding a chihuahua accompanied by Brian Lara with his cricket bat?

There's an idea...'King Power Turkish Barbers'.

At least barbers are a half decent cover. I once saw 8 different chains of a mattress firm on the same intersection in the US… I’ll never believe that at 7 of them aren’t money laundering fronts.

What's the latest?

Highly-rated manager Danny Rohl is set to leave the club, with talks ongoing over his departure.

This implies it’s not Leicester dragging their heels but more Rohl still negotiating his departure from Sheffield Wednesday. Given the parties and technical details involved it may yet take some time. If Rohl is the right guy it may necessitate a degree of patience from us, a quality not, shall we say, frequently observed on FoxesTalk!

Exactly my thinking, if it was Dyche for example there wouldn’t be a hold up. Also, surely they wouldn’t “wait to see” to then have to go to plan B, so they must have had positive conversations with him.

If I’m wrong, it shows a clear lack of competence, again some might say.

Now just hold on there!

You are synonymous with him. You are basically him. Pimping his ass (metaphorically) to the faithful all year.

If he’s shit, you are shit, that is the foxes talk way.

Just think of the glory if he isn’t though!!

lol

The Sheff Weds goalkeeper coach has left and joined Rangers.

So, if we are getting Rohl eventually, we're certainly not getting his full backroom team too.

Which makes me lean towards the theory that this is nowhere near as done as we're all hoping it is.

Or the GK coach didn't want to come here and preferred to go to Rangers, Or Rohl didn't want to bring him anyway.... Means nothing

The club seem to be tweeting a fair bit today possibly building up to a late afternoon / early evening announcement.

Wishful thinking, Ruskin is probably in his garden with his feet up

I appreciate that no journos appear to know what’s going on with us but the Sheff Weds ones would have reported on us by now if it’s close

Sounds like he wants a bit of a break?

Not being funny, Dyche might be on stand-by.

Sure, it certainly could mean nothing.

But if you add the fact that his backroom team has begun to splinter off in different directions, to what's being reported by the BBC (below), it suggests we could be disappointed if we're hoping for Rohl being appointed Leicester manager today or anytime soon.
