This. It’s an unpleasant place to come to most days - just full of hate, bile and people getting angry over rumours - not even actual events. We all know the club is being badly managed, but the need of some posters to turn every single post into an attack on the club is bordering on a mental health issue. Tedious.

I'd completely forgotten about that. He was replaced by one of the Sultan of Brunei's family when he had to fly back to thailand to sort the KP mess out.... I noticed they've even changed the team name to include MB which is his initials..... always thought our ultimate ownership traces back to Brunei to be honest.

 

There is a break between todays game and the 8th July so hopefully be up in the midlands this evening.

It's depressing but it's a Leicester thing. It's in our DNA to be unable to see any positives in our city and club. Only happy when lambasting our own.

I dropped by the Six Hills café on the Fosse Way just up the road from Seagrave earlier. I asked the girl behind the counter for a bacon cob. "Do you mean Röhl?" she asked, before  suddenly looking up at me. There were tears in her eyes. I just nodded and softly said, "Yes. I meant Röhl."

 

No more words needed to be said. We both knew.

The club is being ran  badly,but they are trying to turn it around.The club and fanbase are not toxic,but quite a lot of this forum is.

Passion is acceptable but some of the posts are ridiculous and full of unnecessary hate.

It's easy to criticise them, but surely being too gung-ho in securing signings in the past, agreeing over the top fees and wages etc. has been one of the biggest issues in getting into this mess?

I don’t disagree. From a financial point of view, it’s a trade off with preparation. It seems he is now available for a much smaller fee, that you could now argue getting him in and preparing for the season provides more benefit but we are hamstrung by our financial position. 
 

But yes I agree with the principle.

 

Otherwise, I am just reluctant to give them credit if Rohl comes in as it’s not representative of anything other than doing the obvious thing.
