Don't know what to do about this game.

Work for a multinational company and I'm hosting an event next week which is the first of it's type globally. Got two of our most senior global directors coming over at the weekend and in an attempt to schmooze them I promised I'd spend Sunday with them exploring the E Mids. I hadn't realised the game had moved to Sunday as I'd planned everything initially when it was Saturday, then the penny dropped on Friday.

Ordinarily I'd have taken them with me (praying they like football and hoping they'd buy into the 5000-1 narrative), but obviously can't get tickets.

Desperately want to see off Vards though, so not sure what to do! 😕

Resign.

Drop them of at Ladybird's sauna and go to the game on your own. Sorted.

It’s a complete farce that the FA Cup now takes place before the end of the season.

It should be the last domestic game of the season

All part of the Premier League devaluing the FA.

Just like football didn't exist prior yo the Premier league.

Much like we didn't exist prior to the Thai take over.

If anybody even thinks about leaving early on Sunday then SHAME ON YOU!

We could be 10-0 down with 10 mins to go but giving our GOAT the biggest KP send off should mean more to you!

I and my son will be there until he's probably half way home.

I'll be standing there looking at all those areas of the pitch he's brought me joy from.

If only I could get the "What Three Words" for that spot he scored that Liverpool goal from I'd get it tattooed.

Emotional Sunday ahead for us I'm afraid.

I might go home early so I get back to Stoneygate quickly.

That was the only thing I could think of noticing it was that day. Has that always been the case? I can’t think now. When we were in the final that was obviously the main concern.

I suppose we shouldn’t moan as it is probably a good thing that the cup final is giving the prestige of being the only big game that day (not wanting to play down Wimbledon v Notts @spacemunky ) but yeah not having PL games taking the attention.

That said, I can’t see Leicester or Ipswich fans really giving a damn about Palace v Man City.

To be fair, the only FA cup final I have watched in a good 10 years was ours though. Last one apart from that was probably Wigan winning it. Probably due to the rich clubs just being so boring to watch. I would sooner watch EFL playoffs anyway!

I think our FA Cup final would have been pretty boring for a neutral, although I´m not the best judge - I was too busy having a nervous breakdown in the last 20 minutes

Genuinely think the players will be going all out to get a penalty to give to Vards. Unfortunately I think that's the only realistic way he scores Sunday.

He won't be playing at Bournemouth either so it's last chance saloon.

Why won't he be playing at Bournemouth?

To be fair it would be very fitting if he scored the winner to get to 200 goals in his 500th game, celebrated by pretending to drive a tractor towards the corner where the Ipswich fans are, got a second yellow card for his trouble and left the pitch to a raucous standing ovation.

Knowing him he's got an actual tractor ready to just waltz on to the pitch with.

They have given special dispensation to LCFC/JV to have an extra day off because they know the importance of this very special day in his and our history.

They have altered the whole of the Premier League calendar for this momentous day.

Isn't it obvious? lol

Feel he'll keep his appearances at a round 500.

Ah, okay. Let's just hope he's fit for Sunday and can sign off with his 200th goal. :appl:
