Source?

If they could retrospectively apply it, they would have done it for 22-23 as well don't you think?

The club will decry we are being punished for trying to compete, when in truth we are being punished because we are a shambles and have become accustomed to paying over the top in fees and wages to bang average players

Even players like Cody in the Champ expensive luxuries like the club can afford to pay second fiddle players that are on higher wages than 98% of the league

Why wouldn't he?!

Because he won't get a better job and his best chance of restoring his reputation will be to turn things around with us. He will stay unless the club sacks him, which seems much less likely now given: a) the cost of doing so; and b) the difficulty of recruiting a quality replacement with another PSR charge over our heads.

When you think about it, it’s actually pretty funny in a sadistic way.

We made them change the rules thinking we could stay up this season, but it’s the rule change that actually means they can get us for last season meaning we will actually be further away from being a stable premier league club 😂

Completely deserved.

As restrictive as PSR is, there is no agenda or conspiracy in us being charged.

The club knew the rules and were either negligent in adhering to them, or thought they were somehow above them.

Hopefully we can escape with a 15 point deduction this season so we end on less than Derby's record. No less than they all deserve.

It really could **** us up for next season though, and I expect that to be the case.

There’s no chance of us being docked for this season. They’ll make sure it’s after the season is done and get us at the start of next.

Why does Whelan, who is head of commercial, get away with zero flak from the fans?

She doesn't?

Rudkin gets more because it's widely accepted (although none of us know) that he's in charge of football finances, player contracts, recruiting the manager. Whereas Susan's job is likely to be maximising revenue from the sponsorships, corporate hospitality and retail on a global scale.

If it feels like she gets away with zero flak, it's because the fact we're sponsored by a bankrupt crypto gambling company is barely in the top 10 biggest farces of the past few years at KPFC.

Not to mention us changing the accounting period, which now means we probably can’t sack our manager until after pre season starts….

Might also push us in the direction of Dyche as he has experienced it before. Also might mean he isn’t keen.

That or we stick with Ruud.

Is there a potential for a deduction and a transfer embargo?

We won’t really be able to sack him, his compensation will add to the failure of PSR for next season.

This is from Sky Sports: "The fans will be relieved to hear that they will face definitely no punishment for the 2022-23 season, but they're facing three charges for alleged breaches in the 2023-24 season."

So our previous fear (that the EFL could get us for 2022/23) was unfounded :D  But we've got three brand new charges for 2023/24 :(
