The only thing I can say is the end of season qualifying or friendly internationals tend to be dull, players are tired or trying to prevent injury which could screw up any transfer moves they head in mind. Three wins and out of three, no goals conceded already look well course to qualify so at present Tuchel is not doing anything is wrong. He certainly is aware performances aren't good enough and wants things to improve, I am quite confident they will. So not too worried. Even if your not convinced with Tuchel, just think he's only got one more year left on his contract and I'm not convinced he wants to stay on beyond the world cup even if we win the tournament or not.

Must be genuinely pointless as a striker being called up to these friendlies while Kane is fit enough to play them.

He presents the same problem Rooney presented, especially as captain. A ‘play at all costs’ player, to the detriment of the team, certainly in Rooney’s case

You would think they would want to give one of the younger players some experience so when Kane gets injured or plays shite or exhausted like he normally is later in tournaments we have someone else to turn to

England have been rubbish since Qatar to be honest.

Hard to not ignore the red flags under Tuchel so far. Three and a half poor performances.

It's very England. It's often an allowance made to players who haven't really delivered when it's been most needed either. Kane's been a flat-track bully for England.

Knew Sarr would score - cue loads of tutting on social media from our fans who didn’t think he was all that .

Personally thought the lad did ok TBF when fit and with some confidence but did rather seem to lose his way a bit .

It’s very very easy to develop a real dislike for our international side and our FA.

I know it's probably wrong but this feels worse than anything under Southgate. I thought they'd appear more of a plan under Tuchel.

Loads worse.  I actually thought southgate got most decisions right.  But the constant criticism of mangers whilst the players get so little is odd to me.

That said we all know no matter who is in charge or what the team is they aint doing anything.  I still question the mentality of english players when the big moments arise.

I’d argue Qatar was the only Southgate tournament we didn’t rely on freak luck

2024 was basically a repeat of Euro 2016 with freakish luck
