Leeds fans called Enzo Maresca Poundland Pep when he was here, good one at our expense to be fair

Chelsea fans call it him now.

The timing of the run, the touch and the finish finish were all excellent. Nothing really wrong with Donarumma's starting position at all. All you're doing is making it as tough as possible for the attacker, the pass is great and Martinelli has done all 3 things superbly and deserves all the credit for that.

Sometimes it's just great play and nobody is really to blame.

The blame for the goal lies with Ake and Gvardiol deciding to not follow or block the run. They tried to half attempt to play him offside yet they should have dropped off with Eze on the ball with no pressure.

Monchi is leaving Villa. One of the best DoF's in the business. It's all falling apart over there.

Wouldn't be surprised if they have one or two more bad results Emery goes as well.

At least Villa are making moves to combat it as opposed to just sitting back and accepting it like Top did.

They are now close to appointing Roberto Olabe, again he's supposed to be one of the best DOF.

Who knows if Monchi left or if the club got rid. And to be fair to Villa at least they act.

There's no doubt Monchi did brilliant work at Sevilla, none at all, but he didn't last long at Roma and clearly it's gone wrong at Villa now too.

I know they were restricted in the summer but this is normally where Monchi does his best work, some of what they've brought in looks dreadful!

FFP has screwed Villa and Newcastle to keep the Red Cartel in position and Chelsea just cheating.

This. Wouldn't surprise me if the top 6 was the rich 6 this season

The same Newcastle backed by Saudi Arabia. Yeah, I don't mind if they do get screwed.

Its not so much them being screwed, its just any club that dares to come near challenging the cartel is slapped back, whilst Chelsea just sell the womens team to themselves!! The game is a joke.

Aston Villa did that too. Emery is an excellent coach but exhausting to work for, I wonder if some players have just zoned out.

I guess it's clickbait or  trying to start a story but Talksport claim Harry Kane has a release clause of 54 million.

Any truth in that?

We'd never be able to afford that.

54m for a 32 year Bayern would probably be happy.

Not sure he would want to leave though as he is absolutely smashing it there and he is loved.

There's some funny ones, some outright bizarre ones.

Villa were spending 90% of their income on wages, how have they been screwed lol

Because they are not on a level playing field with the likes of United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea who can pretty much spend as they please because they have bigger turnovers and got rich during a different period. The later Chelsea blatantly cheat every possible rule going.

Much like us Villa tried to pay more for better players, sometimes you are going to have to run at unsustainable wage levels if you want to break into the big 6 and grow, like any business (speculate to accumulate). Obviously we had spectacularly shit people making the decisions, maybe Villa did too, time will tell. Unless of course you want the cartel monopoly to cement its place, which looks very much to be what is happening.

You can’t not love West Ham a bit, proper establishment

An establishment who think they should only play football the West Ham way, they are playing the West Ham way and its taking them to where they belong playing that way. The way they treated Moyes was a disgrace.

Yeah and I wonder why a team that’s only been in the league for 5 years isn’t on a level playing field????Villa did the same PSR trickery as Chelsea lol

yeah so they speculated knowing the risk, it blew up in their face and still managed to bring in JADON SANCHO and Harvey Elliot, wow huge saves on the wage budget that. “The cartel monopoly” lol get a grip you’re speaking like an Ev fan, they’ve cemented their place over the past 30 years because they’re global brands

Nope.

Pornodwarves and Karen Brady. Danny Dyer, Russell Brand and James Corden. A public funded athletics stadium, and not forgetting..... The West Ham Way, and We won the World Cup.

Get in the bin and stay there.
