Strange timing, must have got a yes from their preferred candidate. It'll be Nuno, won't it, lucky buggers!

It's been awhile since I've seen a manager so humiliated as Potter has been. Probably Graham Taylor for those old enough to remember.

Those face swap memes... lol

Don't feel bad for him though. He barely deserved the chances he got &, well, he's been utterly found out now.

no doubt he's had a couple of big lay-off payouts too - more than most of us could earn in several lifetimes. But am I jealous? is the Pope a Catholic?

The idea he’s a good manager is surely dead and buried now, an amazing 10th in the championship with Swansea, Brighton just a well run club and De Zerbi immediately improved them after Potter left, now Chelsea and West Ham have been an utter disaster. Nobody serious is employing him anytime soon. Expect him at Rangers after Brussel is sacked.

Yep - looks like the other coaches and set up at Brighton flattered him; given a club with (on paper) better players and more resources and he flopped at Chelsea, some good but a more mixed bag of players without the coaching resources to prop him up, also failed at West Ham. Without the players or a strong set up behind him, he's  been found out.

Don't forget his successful promotions with Ostersund.

Never employ a manager based on their Swedish record.

Really weird considering he has always been tagged as a forward thinking manager

Someone who always brings a massive team of coaches but never his own fitness coach.

Huge left field shout that, don’t think anybody could’ve thought of that!

Thanks, be on the look out for my #EXCLUSIVE betting tips in April on who will win the PL and upcoming #BREAKING story on the manager set to replace Ruud van Nistelrooy as Leicester manager

Brendan Rodger’s will be licking his chapped lips now thinking he could get the Utd job and get the biggest pay out after a season and half of being an annoying gobshite
