Couldn't believe Brentford gave the job to Andrews, but looks like they've got it right again. Recruitment system just works.

The good thing about this appointment in hindsight, as I’m sure many people were thinking it wasn’t going to work is simply that Andrews was already at the club and granted that doesn’t always work. They both know how each other works, not too much upheaval after losing the manager that’s got them to where they are now.

With the right people running the club off the pitch, it can be very easy to run a football club, be sustainable and have relative success and in relative success with all due respect to Brentford, it’s being an established premier league club when you consider during the PL era, they’re the smallest of the London clubs there is up there.

This is another thing that’s shite about owners having multiple clubs.

For the gain of Chelsea, they’re happy to derail Strasbourg’s season like they mean absolutely nothing as a club. “Oh we’ve got a manager doing well at one of our other clubs, let’s take him for our main club”.

It absolutely stinks.

I don't think Strasbourg fans have ever been happy with the arrangement.

Looks like Roseinor is on his way to London for talks picture of him at the airport.

I like Rosenior, but this just looks like a disaster waiting to happen for me. Chelsea are nigh-on impossible to manage - even for top coaches like Ancelotti and Conte.

Good luck to Rosenior, not sure it will end well but it's a great opportunity.

He might know the squad well and the owners at least with his Strasbourg links but not sure the Chelsea fans will take to him .

Hope Roy Keane wasn’t watching the end of the Leeds v Man U match .
They all looked rather happy and mates with each other at the end .

Certainly not acting as if it was a fierce Derby match .

Enzo to Man Utd?

Same thoughts too. Or would he hold out for a better job...

Manure needing a new manager, Carrick to United? 'Interim' united fave term.

Nowhere near good enough for them.

Never rated Amorim. Stuck to his rigid formula even while managers cheerfully set out in press conferences just how they could defeat his one trick, until even he realised he couldn't keep on with it, and then said that he couldn't change it as fast as he liked because the press would kill him (well he started it by saying not even the Pope could change his mind, so what did he expect?). He's completely out of his depth and was found out months ago, but he seems to have succeeded in getting his wish to be fired with a very handsome pay off.

He struck me a bit like Ten Haag, and this is only an impression rather than hard facts, but he always seemed to manage pulling a job-saving win out of his arse when his future was looking edgy.

There's a current Leicester manager we know who seems to be an expert in pulling this tactic off, too!

Has any manager lasted 2 years at Utd since Ferguson retired? Can’t be asked to look it up!

Mourinho and Ten Hag definitely.

Perhaps Solskjaer too because he started very well, unsure if he got up to 2.

His press conference screamed "sack me".

They should hold a press conference where they draw the next manager out of the hat. The draw will be done by a hammered Rod Stewart.

Yes exactly.

That probably went down like a lead ballon .

Every time he has spoken to the media it seems like he has been trying to get the sack for about eleven months. Going to be well happy to get out of there with a nice payoff.

Can't see that personally they do same at Man Utd for the reason he left Chelsea. Still think Enzo ends up at Man City when Pep leaves.
