Most on here know what I think about the style, but often it was frustration at teams who attempted to play the style but pretty much always failed to replicate it, even though i'm not a huge fan of patient control, I often found City watchable and were one of the best teams at executing it, Pep is one of the greatest managers ever to grace the game. Few managers can say they fundamentally changed the way football was played in entire countries, in England, managers like Ferguson and Wenger had that honour, Pep Guardiola also shares that honour. The shift that Pep has moved the game in is absolutely phenomenal and the game will be much worse off without him in it.

He said he wants to experience international management one day, he loves England, dare to dream? I've no doubt Pep would bring us a world cup.

He's a man of principle, and a man of class, yes he's been at clubs brimming with money and talent, but how many times have clubs spent absolute fortunes on flops? His strike rate for buying players for big sums and getting the most out of them has been pretty exceptional, very few of his big signings flopped. He's more than proven himself as one of the greatest managers in history in Spain, Germany, and on the hardest stage of all, England. I can't see him returning to manage another prem club unless it's a return to City to be honest, he really took to the club and from his leaving video built a love for the city.

I know it's often in Jest when people say that "even pep wouldn't have kept us up" in both the prem seasons and at times this season, nonsense. He is one of the greatest ever.

There’s only one city(essentially don’t call another club city )- Leicester City. Get over yourself

You have to hope it’s Spurs.

I wonder if Rudkin put a bonus payment to us in the sale for Maddison if they get relegated, as a laugh

Dont see West Ham winning sadly. Spurs get through by the skin of their teeth.

Agree, in my Super 6 I went for West Ham to win 2-0, Spurs to lose 2-1. Whilst I rate De-Zerbi a lot and trust him to set Spurs up well there is so much pressure on them today, if something goes wrong early on I can see their flakiness returning immediately. Or it could be the classic Spursey thing of get in a good position then c**k it up.

Moyes will ensure Everton are at it, if Europe was still on I’d have said Spurs definitely wouldn’t get the point they need but even now it’s going to be tough (I hope :P)

So we come to gw38

spurs or west ham

my knee jerk response is of course ‘spurs’ but my mind is drawn to 4 years ago when we were playing West Ham - needing a win and Everton to draw.  West Ham had no dog in that fight but when Everton took the lead half way through the second half they celebrated way more than they needed to and twisted the knife.

so I won’t be shedding any tears for them this afternoon

Anyone else shit the bed last minute for their fpl? lol

Fuming that Haaland isn’t even in the squad. One final middle finger from Pep for all of his lineup tinkering over the years.

I know most of us want Spurs to go down but I can't see it.

Sadly, I think Spurs win and West Ham lose today.

Why are the Spurs players carrying their kids in the line up? Save that shit until full time.

Spurs would hsve been relegated already if West Ham didn't have Nuno. When the team was in form Nuno started playing again for draws. Actually they stopped playing football the past few weeks. Nuno surely has Mourinho's poster above his bed and asks him every night for advice.
