Dyche is more of a gamble than Ruud could work out though but still a gamble.

Rohl, Ruud or Dyche I could get behind.

Really? Ruud has barely show any signs of being a competent manager - we literally went eight league games without scoring a goal - the only side to do that in the history of English football! The bloke is just not a good manager.

Dyche has managed in the Premier League for ten years and won promotion out of the Championship twice. He's the safe pair of hands to get us back up and staying up.

He done ok in the Dutch league which is probably a similar standard to the Championship and knows the players, You are probably right Dyche may be less of a gamble you can see us going for him as well, think it depends what the players feedback is on Ruud.

Just seeing this thread…

 that’s a really depressing list…

Davide Ancelotti? Assuming he'd ever want to manage us (no chance).

I'm surprised he's not a clear winner of this poll:

9 years of top tier experience, he's also thought to be the tactical brain behind his father's operation.

its heresay he was the brains behind his dads management success and I say that because his dad was a manager long before Davide was his assistant. 20 years before, in fact and he won promotion in his first season as manager.

Can you make it clear if this a prediction or an opinion please? They are literally polar opposite.

Perhaps I didn't make it clear. It's a vote for who you want, not who you think the club will appoint.

I’m confused, how can Dyche be any worse then ruud?

I honestly think Ruud will still be here at the start of the season. We surely can't afford to get rid of him unless we sell a player or 2 to stay in line with PSR and then have enough to pay him off.

look at the bigger picture, Dyche rarely used younger players, doesnt fit the style/type of player we have atm, and if the club want to go back to that find unpolished young gems to sell on, then someone like dyche wouldnt fit

dyche feels like a square peg going in a round hole

I've gone other, but it's Dave Challinor.

Absolutely brilliant record through the leagues, almost got back to back promotions with Stockport. Think he's definitely destined for bigger things, hopefully us, but knowing our shower it won't be.

I hope we aren’t still guessing in a months time what to do. We then end up with no one good to bring in and just keep RVN for another season. No more shitshows please lcfc! Sort it out now

We will be able to afford to sack him from July onwards even if we don't sell anybody this month. If we DO generate some money during June, we may afford to sack him sooner.

So almost 50% have voted for Danny Rohl. He's probably the standout choice and most suited to dealing with the incoming points deduction, especially as we could well find ourselves towards the bottom of the Championship at some point during next season. Of course, it's unlikely Rohl will come. Aside from him, Rosenior would be worth going for but he's even more unlikely.

Would’ve loved Rosenior, but just having signed a new contract and European football on the horizon, we can scratch that.

Would love Danny Rohl out of all the realistic opportunities.

I get the negativity about Dyche but I think he's just what we need for the next two or three seasons.

We need somone who will grab the club by the bollocks and shake it around. Someone who won't pander to Top/Rudkin and who will sort the squad out.

He won't accept the performances we've been watching from far too many players and he'll either shape them up or ship them out.

As someone has already said, he's got experience of getting out of the Championship and staying in the PL. He got Burnley into europe!

It wouldn't be pretty but it would be effective and we cannot risk any more 'pretty' ineffective football that bores everyone to tears and is quickly ripped apart as soon as a half decent manager sees how to counter it.

People rightly love Nige for his no-nonsense, player focused approach. Players would run through brick walls for Nige and we had a massive connect between the fans and the players. Look at it now.

I think Dyche would get us up and keep us up, which is what we're all desperate for. A couple of seasons establishing ourselves in the PL and then we can look to move on again. And he's a character, not an off the shelf, media trained, colour by numbers bore of a manager that we're all sick of.

I think we may financially be stuck with Rudd, but if not Ange for me. This club has always responded better to managers with a bit of personality and some backbone, and who are not afraid to tell people the truths they need to hear., and we gewt to win a trophy in his 2nd season !!! Alos wouldn't it be nice to show Spurs what he is capable of if you support him.

We do need to get real here. Ange is way above us now sadly.
