Lambert09 Posted 18 August 2025 Posted 18 August 2025 We can go up without bilal. Don’t think you can say the same for Abdul. 1

sm1 Posted 18 August 2025 Posted 18 August 2025 I think he'll go and not for anything like many think. It'll probably be around 22M with 3-4M add ons.

While the window is open we have the opportunity to fix this squad. creative cm and a striker and we’d be cooking. Even if we have ayew in at #10
AKCJ Posted 18 August 2025 Posted 18 August 2025 I think he'll be doing all he can to force a move but (and this is probably extremely naive given how toxic this dressing room is) I think he'll be fine if he doesn't get the move. I don't think he's the type to do a Mahrez.

He has sources but when there’s nothing happening he just bs Not an easy job as the info is always received with a motivation, club side, agent or whatever. The wilf news for example was very likely something given from wilfs side. Not sure what a journalist can do with that?

I just think Ben Jacobs is a massive chancer personally and has zero sources whatsoever. Crooks exactly the same

If a player who doesn’t want to be here anyway leaves and Marti can get 2/3 in, even if they’re loans. The whole team can look and feel different
MPH Posted 18 August 2025 Posted 18 August 2025 (edited) It’s a tough pill to swallow, seeing him want out. but take a look at Sheffield Wednesday. They had 14 professionals on the books but they all fought for the badge when we played them. I know it’s a different scenario, but I’d rather keep players who want to be here and will play with passion that someone who downs tools. We can’t afford to carry players who don’t want to be here. There’s too much at stake.. Edited 18 August 2025 by MPH 2
Soar Fox Posted 18 August 2025 Posted 18 August 2025 You just know Rudkin is going to have his pants pulled down for a 3rd time by Crystal Palace.

MonarchFox Posted 18 August 2025 Posted 18 August 2025 I'm not overkeen on Bilal. Admittedly I don't get to or see all matches, but the ones ive seen him in he's not set the world on fire.

Looking at how Wednesday got done by Stoke I think our match with them raises more doubts about us rather than any fight by the Owls. Looking past our younger players what quality will be left at this rate? Unless there are surprise incoming signings but no indications yet. 1
