His stock's surely too high for us at the moment? He'll either stay with the U21s to try to bag them more silverware or move to a non-greedy 6 prem team with a decent youth setup.

Would 100% be my first choice. He is clearly very talented and obviously works well with youth players.

He’d be my choice n’all. I got quite excited when he was mentioned a while back.

What Macclesfield fans said about Robbie Savage

except why would Carsley come here when hes got a good thing going with the england U21s

pretty sure there were comments a while back before he signed that deal saying he wasnt interested

I doubt he would however I can't see many better sides going for him, plus if he likes developing young talent then he'd know we have a lot of it and possess class facilities

You're going to have a ceiling to the type of clubs interested in you if your only managerial experience is England U-21s and some v brief caretaker spells.. We'd represent the higher end of club jobs Carsley would likely be in the mix for..

I think he'll stick it out and very likely get the England job at the end of Tuchel's contract, though..

cant find the quote, but looking at comments after the england U21 recently, seems more like hes got an eye on the senior england job more than anything

he recently signed a new deal, he wont be coming here

Doesn’t really mean a lot from an FA/compensation point of view, they’re not going to stand in the way of one of their young coaches wanting to further themselves. It’s whether it means anything to Carsley.

true but i highly doubt he'd be coming here, as I said i think hes got an eye for the top job which if he waits like a year he'll probably get

think i read or heard somewhere else, he likes the freedom he gets with the U21 role as well, where he can go watch/coach his kids side too

wouldnt really be able to do that with us

As mentioned, he’s just signed a new contract. This is a complete non starter. &nbsp

Management at international level is completely different to club level as well.
