Cucacao is notorious for organised crime and in particular, money laundering. Most of the money is believed to be from the drugs trade but they’ve also been recently forced to put in tougher legislation to stop the financing of terrorism via the same networks

Yeah, the entire gambling licence network is currently under review so everyone is on temporary licences.

Have you tried recently? They have had a bit of a switch around as far as who runs it.

They will not say a single word against the club, too bothered about getting their monthly pitch side photo with Wout Faes.

King Power don’t have £15M to give anyone.

If they had money ready to invest in the club, but can’t because of PSR, then they would been pushing ahead with the stadium expansion…or at least some of it.

They are clearly skint and I suspect this deal has multiple layers of shadiness going on.

What percentage do KP now own ?  Top/the family own more for sure.

You don’t build an extension to your house when you may be looking to sell it at short notice ……… and you make should sure that the house looks the best it can. Yes we can comment on the quality of cleaner and gardener being employed.  Hence the garden is overgrown and the bathrooms look terrible.  but if you could find a way of trying to improve the appearance to help a sale then you’d do it.

Any shite that they come out with the defend it is just drivel that will be lapped up by the Facebook idiots.

Some form of string of string of chants to get the media attention is needed as soon as we are back in the ground, along the lines of...

We want Kbet gone/we want king power out

You corrupt b@stards, you know what you are

Send them down (rinse and repeat)

There's plenty of avenues to hit them from but I think it raises the concern we as a fan base have of an issue that's getting plenty of attention at the moment and puts more heat on those in charge.

Absolute scenes when someone finally corners CEO Susan Whelan and she says "well, it's BC Game / K Bet or Jon can't spend £20m on Oliver Skipp.... So"

I am actually astounded. I genuinely thought that there was no way the club would do it again.

The club knew how well it would go down the first time, they just didn’t care.

Radio silence when asked if they would back the work of the Trust.

Presume this was on the fan group WhatsApp?

Well I for one think it’s huge testimony to the club and our global standing as a power brand.

Imagine a company with no customers, staff or revenue deciding to invest £40m of their squeaky clean money to put their recently cobbled together logo on our t shirts!

Can't wait to see who they use as a 'director' or 'intemediary' for the announcement press release/video.

They'll likely say nothing it'll just happen.

This is way closer to the truth than anything else.

from where I’m sitting, the owners went out and the best chance they have of getting the most dosh is to have the club in the PL or challenging in the champ. so they’ll do whatever it takes to achieve that - Using a dodgy gambling website to feed funds into the club.  If it were my money then I’d be doing the same or similar. the risks of being done for this are less than the level of punishment for failing psr without this extra 5/10m.   Your morals are not necessarily their morals.

we all know that we’re where we are because of gross mismanagement- but they seem unable to accept that. and we are are where we are now.

Just sticking this in here as a reminder of my husband's case. He was a devout lcfc fan, who wouldn't miss a game, had a season ticket and started the chants every game (away or home). He loved his club.

The inquest was the first of its kind and happened here in Leicester.

Why.

I'm genuinely a bit baffled but why everyone's so shocked or surprised about this. It worked last time, why would you not do it again?

At the risk of going all @urban.spaceman, I gotta be honest, I blame the governing bodies and the rules just as much as our owners to be honest. We've been under siege for about three seasons now and whilst our own bad decisions has lead to this, so has an absurd set of rules designed to keep mid-sized clubs from spending and growing.

We complain when our owners don't seem to do anything and we complain when our owners do. We want them to be proactive and do things intelligently, I get that, but being crooked works. Brighton and Brentford are held up as paragons of virtue and something to aim for but it's Palace that just won the FA Cup and Forest that just missed out on (and have now stolen) Europe with the weird Marinakis-Texor dubious love/hate co-opperative shenanigans. Nothing about them is ethical but they're repeatedly getting away with this shit. Meanwhile our owners have owned a second club for years now and the most they've done with it is shuffle some development squad talent back and forth.

If Page, Monga, Evans and Aluko start a game for us next season, they'll be doing so in a plain blue shirt with no branding. It's crackers.

I don't want to start an argument but i'm not sure how you can be so staunchly against one regime that we've spoken about so many times... but okay to sweep under the rug money laundering that funds terrorism and drugs trade (which also results in death....)

I agree with you, the whole of football appears to have been lost at this point, but i'd much rather you were on the right side of this argument as well as the state ownership one.

Did it work last time? I would argue that it absolutely didn't and that is why we've had to cut short the BC Game "multi-year" deal to find someone else.

I could understand the club naively going with a dodgy betting company that were making promises they couldn't keep once but to go straight in again is baffling and shows that the club's only focus is ensuring as much gambling money enters the coffers.

Difficult to say we don't get away with anything considering we've successfully avoided any real PSR issues despite consistently overspending.
