Thing is with Tata Pelers team, as shit as some of them were you could never accuse them of not trying. I remember big Trev working his socks off.

Fair play to him (Trev). Hard to dislike the lad and he had his moments.

Re our current team and Marti - if he starts Skipp, Vest., Winks, Faes, Daka, Hamza again, my concerns will have grown. He doesn't have much to work with - but utiilise the youth.

I dont mind Okoli, Thomas.  Ayew works hard and at this level serves a purpose (the best I can say).

What's Brian Deane and Dickov upto these days? Billy Mac.

Just seems like he is being set up to fail by those above him

I think very few, if any, managers would be able to get much out of this bunch of players where the majority clearly don’t give a shit

I sincerely hope the young players are as good will be as we seem to think they are

There have been many false dawns. This next generation of youth will save us millions etc.Only for the vast majority to end up at the likes of Grimsby and Swindon (If they were lucky)

Clearly Monga has the Heskey dust sprinkled on him.Heskey had the advantage of playing in a team on the rise. It’s a big ask of Monga in the current situation.

This is Marti's biggest job and could turn out to be the most challenging job in his career to date. The start to the season so far, bearing in mind we've only had two league games, was always going to be a possibility whichever manager came in due to the situation that was going to be inherited. Even if there had been a more convincing start to the campaign overall, it wouldn't have detracted from the wider issues surrounding the club. Marti has shown a desire to try and build a connection with the fanbase, which is always important and a good starting point. However, repairing the relationship between fans and players, and integrating academy players whilst maintaining results, is going to be very difficult.

I know what you mean, but I'm not sure how much he can be blamed. It's a honking squad he has to choose from.

Playing an actual striker would be a start...

He’s clearly got his system, you could see it in the pre season games when other teams weren’t fit or interested in closing us down, but with the players he’s got here, against teams who are up for it and run their hearts out we just can’t play it to any type of positive effect at all. Ndidi would have made a difference ahead of either of the two honking excuses for footballers starting in midfield today. Complete lack of striker options also a big problem for his system.

Think we have to cut him some slack. A lot of uncertainty heading into the season and still with the window open.

Perhaps he is being told not to play certain players. I don't know but I will judge better once the window is closed and we see how things go.

For his own sake though, skipp and soumare can never happen again.

It is, but he’s actively picking players that cause problems to his system.

So far he’s made the same mistake every game that has left us open at the back, he triggers a press that pushes our entire team onto one side of the pitch, leaving a massive gaping hole on one side often Luke Thomas and Vestergaard. One simple diagonal ball across and we are opened up with ease. He’s made this same mistake in every game so far, and the wild thing is, this isn’t some new flaw in the system that has been exposed, it’s the exact reason Jesse Marsch’ Leeds team were opened up so easily, we have videos from 2 years ago on YouTube explaining this flaw, and Marti is making the same mistake by picking 2 defenders in Luke Thomas and Vestergaard who expose that.

Then picks Soumare and Skipp every match. Nobody is forcing him to make these very basic mistakes that me and other armchair fans can spot a mile away.

He can’t be blamed for what he inherited but he absolutely should be criticised for the poor decisions he’s repeatedly making so early on.

We said this after the opening game and yet it’s still happening, and it will happen next match, and the match after.

You can see a mile away that he’s going to be another stubborn manager that refuses to fix really basic issues in the system.

He can have all the slack in the world when he stops making these decisions.

He's shit, there's no excuse at all for the selection of Skipp and Soumare in midfield, yet again the club employs another complete idiot on a 3 year deal they can't afford to pay off. Relegation looks very likely under this clueless clown.

He is exactly what Leicester needs.

Its just a shame Leicester is not giving him what he needs so that we can be successful.

Any fans slagging him off are ****ing clueless and blind. Its the board not the manager.

He’s picking skipp consistently I think it’s you who are clueless and blind

I can agree, just trying to be patient given our situation.

The bigger question is beer or milk in my cereal for my morning breakfast?

It can’t be 3 managers fault in a row ! If you

bought a bunch of no good misfits your doomed. Not to mention the squad getting sold off player by player. The problem falls to the hands of the decision makers and the recruitment team. Shocking
