Obviously I’m glad they can’t spend it because of Abdul, but the rules are an utter disgrace when you look at what Villa and Newcastle are having to do this summer. PSR was a complete scam to maintain the status quo.

youre right tbf, the rules arent fit for purpose at all now,

a part of the rules are just so the legacy big 6 arent knocked off their perch

They told us no one would want him because he was injured last season and now it seems half the country is looking at him

Tbf he's proven in two games just how well he's recovered from that injury...

Yeah to be fair it's just annoying how every club seems to be going for him

Newcastle maybe. Villa? Not a chance. Spent disgusting amounts to get promoted (something they would never be allowed to do now) and again spent loads of money beyond their means and got involved in some of those really dodgy PSR deals. Absolutely no sympathy for them.

This has Jordan Ibe vibes

He's got something about him but not £25million worth.

Liverpool really knows how to max their youth player values though

I think this is a little bit like the Maddison deal to Spurs & Winks coming to us and is PSR jiggery and pokerey, we will pay you your valuation you require for player X and yes you can buy player Y from us for this valuation.

Hasnt Kerkez joined for a very significant fee from Bournemouth which has given them PSR wriggle to then over pay for Doak but at £5m per year but gives Liverpool a whacking profit. It’s all back scratching to help each other manage PSR compliance and still enable clubs to trade.

Looking forward to them selling Trey Nyoni to Fulham for 30m pocket change to help offset their latest 110m purchase while we're still gasping to keep our head above the PSR water.

He may as well go if thats the level of performance we are going to see from him this season. Worst game in a Leicester shirt so far.

Fear not!

Teams that make signings like this don't have the right to complain about PSR when they're doing this.

To be fair to them, they just managed to get a mystifying price for Outtara, so they've probably just agreed that to get it done quickly.

Entire squad off it today - I don't think I'd expect that level of performance from him every game

Looked to me that he was trying too hard to impress and get that move away....

Think it was more out of frustration because instead of Vardy he was looking into an empty penalty area because Ayew was too deep or Daka has no awareness so took the wrong option of going it alone.

 Vardy still doesn’t have a club…🤔
