PSR was a complete scam to maintain the status quo. Newcastle maybe. Villa? Not a chance. Spent disgusting amounts to get promoted (something they would never be allowed to do now) and again spent loads of money beyond their means and got involved in some of those really dodgy PSR deals. Absolutely no sympathy for them.
DezFox Posted 15 August 2025 Posted 15 August 2025 I can see him at Bournemouth for 35 mill and it’s depressing. 1

Liverpool really knows how to max their youth player values though I think this is a little bit like the Maddison deal to Spurs & Winks coming to us and is PSR jiggery and pokerey, we will pay you your valuation you require for player X and yes you can buy player Y from us for this valuation. Hasnt Kerkez joined for a very significant fee from Bournemouth which has given them PSR wriggle to then over pay for Doak but at £5m per year but gives Liverpool a whacking profit. It’s all back scratching to help each other manage PSR compliance and still enable clubs to trade.

Scotch Posted 16 August 2025 Posted 16 August 2025 He may as well go if thats the level of performance we are going to see from him this season. Worst game in a Leicester shirt so far. 1 3
kingpowerout Posted 16 August 2025 Posted 16 August 2025 Just a bad day at the office. We know he’s levels above that performance so let’s not overreact 1
sphericalfox Posted 16 August 2025 Posted 16 August 2025 I'd wager the speculation is messin with his head 2
Popular Post JimJams Posted 16 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 16 August 2025 I'd wager having nobody to play off is messing with his ability to perform at his best. There's no target to cross to, there's no 10 or high 8 to play off of, there's no overlap from the fullback. It's literally get the ball and face up your opponent. And not even in situations where getting the better of them puts you in a good position. 5

To be fair to them, they just managed to get a mystifying price for Outtara, so they've probably just agreed that to get it done quickly.

Think it was more out of frustration because instead of Vardy he was looking into an empty penalty area because Ayew was too deep or Daka has no awareness so took the wrong option of going it alone. 1
