Another day passes and we're still talking about Jamie Vardy re-signing. Meanwhile, Stoke have welcomed back "legend" Steven Nzonzi. 

 

So who would you bring back? Who's realistic? Who could you imagine seeing again? 

 

Schmeichel as a back up keeper, anybody?

I mean, we're spoiled for choice as we had a lot of good players who left a sinking ship. Not exactly a Stoke situation where the last really good player they had was Shaqiri (and of course our Huth)

 

Of the players still playing:

Barnes

KDH

Lookman 

Buonanotte

Akgün

Maguire

Maddison 

Tielemans

Fofana

Chilwell

Schmeichel as back-up to Stolarczyk 

I'd frankly have Perez up front over any of our current options. 

Mahrez would probably still be fine in the championship, too.

Could maybe squeeze a year out of Kramaric.

Not much overlap between players who would be realistic and players who would actually improve the squad I don't think. Can't say I've watched a great deal of him but I understand Viktor Johansson is meant to be one of the better Championship keepers these days so he's probably one, I don't rate George Hirst particularly but he would at least be an option and I know some people get very excited at the prospect of a big, crap target man up front

Mahrez and Kanye, still both playing in Saudi. Both would be unbelievable. 

 

If I could have anyone though it would probably be the shepshed pirlo, hitting his peak and local boy to boot. 

 

Best still playing is probably lookman but he was only on loan so does that count?

Best still playing is definitely not Lookman. I’d take the aforementioned Kante and Mahrez over him, even now, all day long.
