The thing is, and I don’t know how many times it needs to be said, faes is not shite. 
 

He has bad concentration but he has far more talent than any other defender in the championship and I truly believe that.  But the problem is that sometimes you don’t need to be talented you just need to smash it clear and that’s where he makes his mistakes.  Because he can, doesn’t mean he should and if he was actually a little less talented, he’d probably be a better defender as he’s do the basics more frequently. That’s my take anyway

That's academy and first team lot.

 

The vast majority of people have been criticising moments which warrant criticism. My point was as an overall comment, if you speak negatively in anyway about academy players, quite often I see the comment not wanting someone to succeed. 
 

It’s an overall statement not just a response to that one post.

There are players WAY ahead of Alves in the pecking order that could've come off for Page and should absolutely be fearing for their place

As hoping page would be on for skipp.. get the ball in to Alves in space rather than the current slow method. Can just see page receiving the same dead passes Alves was giving. Hopefully not .. good luck to the young lad

But probably correct.  He's been largely anonymous and we need to link the mid to the attack.  Page played a bit deeper in preseason than Alves has done today.  Maybe it's to link things up.

Maybe he felt hooking Skipp at half time twice in a row would be too harsh but it's what needs to happen. Nothing personal, the guy is dreadful and a big (though not the only) reason why we're struggling to work the ball up the pitch
