It's not so much how bad he's been. He just doesn't put in the hard yards. He's not good enough to justify carrying him. Really basic stuff. 

 

I'm not even one of those fans that just loves a runner or someone who is going to put himself about, but Soumare point blank refuses to get behind the ball. It'd be unacceptable in Sunday League.

I dont see the point in binning Ayew off and playing Mavi out of position. I think Monga is still an impact sub.

Not sure we suddenly need to have 2 holding midfielders. Winks sitting in front, Page and Bilal either side in a (Ndidi and Dewsbury Hall type midfield). Soumare and Skipp just get in each others way. We are likely to dominate the ball so let Faes, Vestergaard and Winks play the middle. 

Would work better with an inverted Ricardo, but Choudhury will have to do.

I’m loathed to put Hamza in, but the CM can’t have Skipp or Bouba in, so you’re fast running out of options. 

This is about what I'd play as well and I hate it. Crikey.

Exactly where I am. He has benefit of the doubt for now but he's going to lose it rapidly if he keeps picking that excuse of a midfield.

Are we going to see a team putting in 100%. What struck me against Sheff Weds, particularly 1st half was that they were playing for their lives and half of our lot were half heartedly playing for moves. 
 

Id go back to plan A and try and cull the lot of them apart from the academy lads, Abdul and Ricky.

This is going to be our biggest problem this season. Everyone else will want it more than most of our lads will.

he probably is but frankly we cannot play with that oaf up top slowing everything down. If daka isn't favoured it has to be one of the wingers to give that speed and aggression in the press

Think Ayew has looked a lot better than most so far. A low bar but he isnt the main problem

I remember complaining about Dennis Praet as well, makes me think about how good we had it (although we had higher expectations back then that Praet was not cut out for).

 

Praet had a similar ability to hide from the ball as Skipp but at least when he got the ball he had the technical ability to do something with it!
