Drew comparisons to the first few games under Enzo after the Wednesday match. It took a while for everything to click and come together under Enzo and it's obviously going to take Cifuentes a while to get it perfect. 

 

But this isn't just imperfect, it's like Ruud never left. 

 

We look lost, aimless, morale still looks awful, we have zero control, no good patterns of play, can't see any real evidence of a plan. 

 

Some promising patterns of play in preseason but none on show now. 

 

Probably doesn't help that our most capable players out there are all waiting to see if they're leaving. Enzo dropped everyone that wasn't 100% on board straight away.

 

If Cifuentes did that now we wouldn't have a squad. 

 

It can't help morale that we've signed nobody at all and don't appear to. It can't really give the players any optimism can it?

We have nothing to offer up front, apart from a few dribblings into the box. Central midfield pretty much inexistant.

 

I see no team on the pitch, but a selection of individuals.

This is a team who are expected to be in a relegation battle. Those who think we won’t be, are in for a bit of a shock. This team is going down. Can’t defend, can’t score, and seemingly don’t care.

Agree completely. In the friendly it looked like they were going for the high press, lots of intensity, fairly direct. Really surprised by how lacklustre they've been in these 3 games so far

Unfortunately the ref is letting the PNE players get physical with Fatawu.

We've got the best 10/winger combo in the division, but turns out if you've got somethings that can't move in front and behind them, it's piss easy to double up on all of them and just shut our only talent down completely.
