My mate went to that legends night tonight.

Danny Simpson absolutely loves the club but hates whats happening to it and they all other than huth seem dissapointed that they aren't involved in the club one way or another even if it was to bring that spirit back of them Pearson years/ranieri year . Rather strange how the most successful players in our history aren't being begged to come back and help out in some way really

To be fair Huth was spot on. He said he would take a meaningful role.

Just because they’re club legends it doesn’t mean they should automatically qualify for roles at the club IMO.

However, there should already be an office at Seagrave with Kasper Schmeichel’s name engraved on the door. An absolute born winner who demands the absolute best from everyone around him.

Not that our esteemed leadership would allow someone so influential questioning their decisions.

Agreed. But it’s not because they’ve won something that’s the reason the club should be tapping into them. It’s because they played for a guy who personified Leicester City and who fostered a team spirit we’re so  badly lacking at the moment

I completely disagree.

It's how you ensure the culture and traditions of the club are respected. Club legends should always have a role to play at their former club should they want it.

Are we at the point now where the club is lower in the 92 than when King Power bought us? And that's ignoring the financial issues that King Power have got us into.

It seems as though we were 14th in the League after a 3-2 loss at Palace in the opening game, so currently we’re not lower than when the club was bought.

Fair enough, I couldn't remember exactly when the purchase was finalised.

I think it's got to fit......

I'd be very careful what job I gave Jamie Vardy for example lol

If only, but I doubt Sir Nigel would want anything to do with the club, he knows the two idiots who run the show (if you can call destroying a football club running the show)and will steer well clear

They're not at the club because they would actually address issues - Rudkin and eventually Aiyawatt.

So we've got two utterly useless idiots who wouldn't even take help if offered it because they know it would expose them. Aiyawatt and Rudkin are bigger than the club in Aiyawatt and Rudkin's eyes.

Aiyawatt has cultivated a loser culture at the club. People who embrace a lack of standards with zero accountability and it starts at board level.

We’re basically a shit, tiny version of Manchester United.

This is spot on !!
I’ve said that a few times

it’s all from the Top literally

The bloke is absolute Cancer to this football club and it’s time tge fans opened their eyes !

It’s pretty obvious to everyone that as a football club we’re run very very poorly and IMO this is the worst I’ve ever seen it run including the Shipman era.

A club in debt over the past 5 seasons through sheer negligence.

An owner who is clearly out of his depth, not interested and won’t engage with the fans.

It’s pretty bleak and this is what we’ve got

To play devil's advocate - the role Ferguson held at United for so long was a huge burden on staff and they've said as such.

It isn't as simple as saying 'club legend give him the keys' and it working out. I wouldn't want Walsh at the club and I idolise him alongside most other fans.

I could see Schmeichel working well,  Morgan perhaps also. Simpson? I'm not so certain. Likewise one or two others who we hold in high esteem.

That's what happened previously when Taylor dismantled the club.

We lost the valuable input from the likes of Walsh, Elliot, Izzet, Cottee - Players who had a real feel and who played with pride in playing for the club.

We really should all of those 4 guys from the legends involved and literally any player from that Premier League and FA Cup winning teams who want to be involved should be part of the fabric of the club.

That's how you build culture and a generation of players who really want to play for the club and succeed. Not turn up and big up a huge wage for doing naff all
