Been a while since I've watched the MLS, thanks for reminding me how poor the goalkeeping is. The average speed of 2 or 3 of those goals must have been about 2mph lol

 

Not particularly blown away by this one at all, feel like he won't be much of an upgrade on Ayew if at all. I genuinely think Vesty could beat him in a race based on those highlights :D 

 

Hope he does well and it's always exciting to have a relative unknown, but my expectations on this one are incredibly low.

Have to say I feel the same way, just doesn’t seem like he’ll be any threat at all on the counter and seems too small to win much in the air or hold the ball up. 
 

Some of the defending was comical too 😂

They did this when Faes signed as well but unfortunately not quite enough to stop him becoming Woot Faze. They'll probably have to do one for Jordan James as well

He will do fine for you. Has some qualities, but wasn’t really a good for our team

 

I dont expect him to be your #1 guy but a future prospect. Good positioning, decent finishing, strong in duels but thats about it. Might be good for Championship play

 

He's a targetman, and a good one if he gets the balls. Other than that, don't expect much from him.

 

 

He’s a decent finisher. That’s it, not much other qualities.

The most significant comments from Feyenoord describe him as a good finisher just with a slightly lacking all round game for them.

 

Not sure who needs to hear this but Feyenoord are a better side than we are right now, taking the cast offs isn't really a major problem. Their league might not be the Prem but it's still better than the Championship, to which the MLS is probably more comparable in quality.

 

Carranza will be as good or bad as our ability to make chances for him. His problems here, if he has them, aren't likely to be him lacking the quality but us just lacking the ability to consistently create for him. Hopefully that's not the case if we wrap up all our other business today.

I don't think the Championship is known for its pace especially compared to the dutch league, so it could work out as that seems to be the major criticism.
