how and why does Rashford keep getting picked, hes frankly honking

Just came on to say the same. He offers absolutely nothing, definitely isn't our best option on the left, would sooner see Gordon, Barnes, Eze, Grealish above him and probably many others. Get him gone

We're 7/1 to win the world cup, get those lays in now.

We easily could. There’s no outstanding teams in international football at the moment. Would just need a bit of in tournament momentum and when you look at our squad and management, we are top 3 in the world.

Problem is we’re reliant on the 2 wingers and Eze for creativity and Rashford is rubbish and Eze looks like he’s taking it easy.

Agree it's open but can't help but think we've blown our best opportunities. We've had some very favourable draw luck and not converted it. Don't think next year really suits us either condition wise.

Do feel like we could win 2028 mind you.

The only real barrier would be Spain.

We’re so laboured in our approach.

Waiting for something to happen rather than making it happen.

A reminder that Andorra are ranked lower than the likes of St Vincent & The Grenadines.

Difficult against a 5-4-1 formation but I expected us to get behind them more than we have.

The last 5+ minutes have been a bit more dynamic

Not even top 3 in Europe.

Yuo say that but the bottom half or so of most big leagues play like that and the better teams mostly manage to be creative and win easily

Just thinking about all the whining pre WC 18&22 and Euro 20&24 and can't help but think...

- wtf do you want? You begged for an alternative to Southgate and here's your reward

- Fvcking wait until we play competitive matches in the WC when we qualify next year???

- Stop watching us and judging us based on playing inferior opposition??? I do, I did. You'll next catch me watching an England game in the first match of WC next year

Not 100% sure what the legacy cap is that Dion got, but to be there after losing his dad on Monday and saying such great things about him was beautiful. We have all experienced grief and loss and to be there meant a lot to him and his family. Did he dad proud.

My main memory of Dion will always be him being sent off infront of me on his debut for us. Was a swine of a tackle from memory.

Just seen the score - hands up if you're wasting your weekend watching that?

I went to it and was bored shitless. Dull, dull, dull.

People say our atmosphere is bad at the KP! Villa Park was shocking today.

First time I’ve left at 84 minutes.

Serbia on Tuesday will be a better indicator of where we are. Horrible atmosphere and a competent side who'll be out to win. Part-timers and League Two standard players playing a 10-0-0 formation won't be what England face in the US next year. It might have been better for Tuchel to have had some Nations League football given the quality of the group, but it is what it is.
