First game back after the International break and starts a run of 5 games in 4 weeks before the next break.

Oxford (A) Cov (H), WBA (A), Wrexham (H), Swansea (A)

Interesting to see if Marti brings any of the deadline signings straight in or not?

I'd be surprised if he didn't bring in at least James and Carranza. We clearly need more energy and creativity in midfield, and Ayew can't press or make things awkward for the opposition- certainly not alone at any rate.

I don't think Ramsey gets in just yet.

Honestly some of these lot could mildly redeem themselves if we beat those rats at home.

Will be a good game that. Be interesting to see how it goes.

I got really confused for a second there, thought you had an irrational hatred of Oxford United lol

Would still prefer Okoli with Vestergaard.

That midfield is already significantly stronger than Soumare/Skipp combo.

Even if Cifuentes doesn't like Winks to start, at least with James and Ramsey complimenting the wingers we have some creativity and energy in the middle.

Vestergaard has been excellent and he's also setting a fantastic example in training to the younger players.

James & Carranza have to start. I get you tend to want signings to bed in but we are horrific in midfield and attack and they really can't do a lot worse.

I like what he's done with Winks though. Rate that he hasn't just tolerated him and treated him like he's above us. I'd imagine eventually he may come back in but absolutely fine with him not for now.

I think that’s probably our strongest 11 on paper 👍🏻

Throw in Kristiansen and Souttar, into the match day squad, when fit. That 20 then picks it self, maybe need Page in the 20. Not sure which three drop out 🤷🏻‍♂️

A straightforward 15 points there I reckon

Hope Nelson gets some minutes

Needs to be loaned out in January if he isn’t getting good minutes by then

Especially if Souttar is back as well

Yes I'd keep him in.

Nobody mentioned yet that we haven't played these in a league match in 31 years?

A good record against them?
