We remind me of Glenn Hoddle's Wolves at this level many years ago. Beyond dull.

Yes, everyone bar Daka behind the ball. The most dangerous move of the match other than the goal was when Hamza bent a ball around their back four and Daka raced away and had a shot, we should’ve had men up there though to give him an option because the angle was wrong, but as I said all behind the ball.

Just imagine a 34 year old Matty James had a better game than a 25 year old Oliver Skipp. Which one cost £25million?

And weighing in at 16 stone too, what’s he been eating pillows?

Worra summer clear out from Leicester.

Fan favourites Faes, Vestergaard, Soumare, Ayew, Skipp, Kristiansen and Daka all featuring in the last two games.

We have little quality to choose from.

I get shot down for this, but after last night, Daka is the best forward option.

I prefer him to Ayew, I'd like to see him get a run of games and chance to build up some match fitness.

Watching Ayew is painful.

Hard to blame the attackers too much all in all though, The fact we mess around with the ball for 2 minutes while allowing the opposition to get into shape means that anyone will struggle for chances.

If we're going to let the other team pack the edge of their box before attempting an attack we may as well sign a Steve Howard type who might have a chance of winning some headers from crosses.

I agree. He might be crap but at least he stretches defences a bit.

Makes more sense than Ayew plodding about on the halfway line.

He also has pace, and abit more threat going forward

I only caught the last few minutes of Radio Leicester's coverage last night. Mike Stowell was on & he was making some very good points, saying that Daka has been here for years & not been considered good enough by several managers & yet we are still playing him. Players that have got us relegated twice are still playing & should not be at the club & that these players have got to be moved on before we can progress. On the small bit that I heard he sounded really impressive & being a long term & until recently employee, I thought his views were quite relevant

Should have had another forward option, before Vardy left

Some very obvious points too. He always sounds a bit bitter when he's on the wireless

After giving most of your career and decades of your life to a club, stepping in every time you were asked after they sacked a manager, being the “stable” person, to be then told “you were the issue all along” by the person who’s been making all the incompetent decisions

I’d probably be bitter too

A really poor game. Thought we were ok in the first half without being great and scored a nice goal. Second half was a virtual non-event until we gifted them a way back in.

Such a flatness about everything after the initial burst of optimism. The same failing players still heavily involved. Hopefully James will be in now, the only real bright spark.

Agree with this.

All our strikers are bad and none of them will score anywhere near enough goals, but Daka looks the best fit for the type of football Cifuentes (apparently) wants to play.

Lot of those players who got us relegated also got us promoted. Getting out of this division isn't the same as staying in the Premier League.

If I didn't know who Stowell was id think I've just turned in to some old drunk from Braunstone ringing up from the pub.

He was saying how we should want Forest to qualify for champions League last time he was on.

If you want to get a result against leicester just sit in and defend, then counter us, we won’t be able to score!

my theory is we will do better vs teams that attack us! Let’s see

Disgusting situational awareness.

What's worse is we did the exact same thing minutes later with Kristensen.

It's so bad when a team of their calibre realise that pumping it without any real skill down our left will cause panic. This is players that have played at a much higher level than their opponents too.

That's the worry to take away from last night. At the minute we are still getting the tactical respect of Leicester under Enzo. When teams have a go we struggle a hell of a lot. That Enzo team also found that out. Despite the limp over the line at the end.

That said, the first 55 minutes or so I thought we were comfortable bar Hamza's mistake. We cannot think we can sit on a 1-0 lead like that in any game though.

The hope for me is Marti saying it's arrogance implies it wasn't tactical and more the players thinking the game was done. We aren't ****ing good enough to cruise through games anymore.

Yesterday it really dawned on me that there's a decent chance we don't see Premier League football for a good 5 years, maybe a lot longer if the current lot aren't hounded out. That just isn't a team that'll be promoted and if we don't do it this year, we are stuck - needing to be creative, think outside the box, needing to get good value for money, while we still have Aiyawatt and Rudkin running the club. What hope could you possibly have?

None of this should surprise people. We were the 3rd team in the Championship to confirm our position in the league and the 23rd to have a manager in place. If you think Cifuentes was some well thought out plan rather than the usual hail mary then more fool you.

You dont even need to counter. You just need to wait for one of the CB's to mess up. Lob a few balls in a see what happens - i promise something will.
